What is Technocracy?
This is a very important question… I think about it daily as the meteoric rise of scientism creates a new materialistic priest class, in whom you must put your faith and devotion.
What is Technocracy?:
A scientific dictatorship, enabled by full-scale surveillance, in which an elite class of scientists and engineers manages every facet of life.
Technocrats are,
“persons who exercise power by virtue of their technical knowledge.”
Technocracy is the Brave New World in Aldous Huxley‘s 1932 novel, which was more a,
“I just got out of a meeting and here’s how it’s going down,” memo rather than a cautionary tale.
In this presentation about COVID-19, Dr. Lee Merritt, influenced by Patrick Wood‘s writings on technocracy, shared the etymology:
Techn = skillKrat = kratos (divine personification of power)
She summed up technocracy:
Data gathered on everybody in the world and fed to un-elected officials, who are smarter than everybody, and will use the information to create amazing solutions…
It boils down to “power via differential knowledge,” meaning,
if you have knowledge that only a select few have, you can lord it over the majority of people.
The Internet and Total Surveillance
Once the possibility of a total surveillance state materialized with the inception of the Internet, technocracy became the crown jewel in the Cabal’s totalitarian New World Order agenda.
The timeline is speeding up.
Their dreams of ruling the world are veering toward a terrifying reality with,
- artificial intelligence (A.I.)
- propaganda in everybody’s pocket
- a bazillion data points on every man, woman, and child on Earth…
Patrick Wood, the OG of technocracy research, said once we reach a scientific dictatorship society…,
“liberty will be a historic curiosity.”
“I Always Feeling Like Somebody’s Watching Me”
“You can’t manage
what you can’t monitor.”
Patrick Wood
In order to achieve this goal, the technocrats developed mass surveillance, which has only been possible in the modern age with the Internet.
This is their time to act.
- Smart meters on houses monitor how much energy you consume.Â
- Credit card transactions track consumer behavior and move people away from hard currency.
- Social media fills out the dossier with beliefs, names of friends and family, images, and much more.
- The Affordable Care Act digitizes your medical history.
- Smart gadgets – Fitbit, Oura Ring, etc. – pass all of your vital stats to central repositories.Â
- Smartphones track where you are, what you’re doing (they can listen in), and what information you’re consuming and entertainment you are consuming.Â
- The Internet of Things (IoT) adds more daily data. What’s in your fridge? What do you watch on TV? And even more nefarious, there are credible reports detailing how they can watch us through our TVs.
- Facial recognition software and cameras monitor every square inch of public space.Â
- Virtual assistants like Alexa monitor your every word and train people to be useless (“please machine, turn on that light… I cannot do it myself”).
- Public school jams cultural Marxism down the throat of every child, while Common Core collects 400 pieces of data on every child, which is on their record for life.
Coming Soon
- QR codes. Digital ID passes. Chips injected under the skin. There’s even speculation that some of the COVID vaccines include nano particles that can self-assemble in your body to create tracking circuitry in your body. I’m not making this up. No proof you’re clean, no travel. This scannable chip will have all your data. COVID is a ruse to inject you. This chip will carry your money and your reputation, and will be scannable at any checkpoint. You better think, speak, and act right, or your social credit score tanks, and you have no access to your money.
- 5G towers popping up everywhere sold as enhanced speed for your gadgets and 24/7 connection to the grid no matter where you are. This will produce more social media dopamine fiends. And, enhance surveillance capabilities with faster networks and ubiquitous data sources.
- You think space is about the moon and Mars…?
Think again…!
They’re covering our upper atmosphere with satellites for more surveillance, and weapons delivery systems.
We are entering the Truman Show writ large.
Your whole life recorded.
The big hurdle will be managing all the data, but breakthroughs in quantum computing will help them sift through information at a record pace.
You may be cool with this now, because you have nothing to hide.
God help you if you’re a free thinker.
Or decide, in the future, that you don’t agree with the demands of your technological overlords.
They’ll find out you’re a subversive because you had a friend over for tea, breaking permanent social distancing laws.
Or in the shower, you mumbled something disparaging about the only available food: pre-packaged, processed, terrible tasting MREs.
Panopticon Nightmare
We are racing right into this nightmare.
It will not be a utopia.
We will be in digital prisons receiving universal basic income for subsistence living, and daily delivery of vegan kibble.
We will
It will be the shared economy for us (who gets to ride the bicycle today?), while the Oligarchs continue to entertain themselves with yacht and jet excursions between stays in their multiple mansions.
But, if our emboldened ruling class calls their shot in a video over soothing music and smiling images, it’s no big deal. The future is “bright”…
Depopulation
These evil sociopaths want full control. It doesn’t take much imagination to see where this might go wrong. Add their fixation on overpopulation and you have a witches’ brew of terror.
In their books they write about lessening the burden on Mother Earth.
If the Georgia Guidestones are an accurate indicator, these self-appointed rulers of humanity think 500 million is the perfect world population to maintain harmonious balance with nature. Sounds so idyllic…
But wait, what’s going to happen to the surplus 7+ billion people?
They’re depopulating gradually by…
- Discouraging young people from having children with sustainability propaganda and financial hardship.Â
- Opiate drug proliferation.
- Stealth sterilization.Â
- Toxic vaccination programs.
- GMO frankenfoods and fluoridated water.Â
- Perpetual conflicts and occasional hot wars.Â
Scientism is Basis of Technocracy
Science has become the new religion.
There is no truth outside of empiricism.
Supernatural truths and the Christian Bible are outright rejected.
Charles Darwin was one of the first major figures to push scientism into mainstream thinking.
His theories of evolution and survival of the fittest fall right in line with the new dogma.
There is no creator.
Life is an accident.
Those that have means to survive should pass on their genes, while everybody else should die off, thus creating a smarter and more robust populace.
The connection to eugenics and bioethics is obvious. This philosophy justifies killing millions as “just the way the world works.” It’s natural.
The 1900s, and its massive toll of senseless deaths from ideological wars and starvation campaigns, are testament to the power of this nihilistic approach.
“Scientism is very much a religion. The god is science.
The priesthood is scientists and engineers.”
Patrick Wood
We’re seeing the power of science worship now, as brave souls, who stand up against vaccination, climate change propaganda, GMOs, and COVID lockdowns, are dismissed as low IQ deniers…
The science is settled and you have no right to question it.
Our scientific overlords have deemed it so.
This was decades, even centuries in the making.
Technocracy is the fruition of the scientific
The endgame is now…!
More Moves Toward Global Tyranny
To gain control of the world and implement technocracy the Elite must have absolute control.
They use a variety of means to do so.
The Great Reset:
Where you won’t own anything and you’ll love it. The revelation of this
wonderful planis courtesy of the
World Economic Forumheaded by Bond villain
Cryptocurrency:
All of your assets, money, and transaction records will be on the blockchain.
If you get out of line they’ll cut off access. Jury is still out if existing crypto coins like
Bitcoinare part of the plan, or if the entire decentralized currency movement will be co-opted.
“Sir. Sir. We only accept Totalitarian Coin here.”
One-World Religion:
Create tension among the religions. Get them to fight.
Show the world that
religionsare terrible because all they do is fight and create wars. Offer a better solution:
The one-love Far Eastern amalgam religion…
Add a dash of mysticism, occultism, and
New Agewoo woo, and you have the recipe for a
Fr.Seraphim Rosesaw it coming and wrote about it in
Orthodoxy and The Religion of the Future, whichJay Dyeranalyzes
here.
Monied interests have funded ecumenical movements to water down the Christian religion and make it pliant to the Elite’s will.
Steven Rockefellerpushed the green movement into the interfaith circles as well. Now, all the major church denominations have gone green and warn against “
The World Council of Churches is a tool of the Elite.
Soon the only legal churches will be those that preach the gospel of social justice and sustainable development, and burst into guitar sing-alongs of Imagine on Zoom calls.
You will participate from your government-mandated housing pod.
But, if that doesn’t suit you, please participate in a Cabal-approved worldview of your choice:
Atheism, Luciferianism, or Scientism.
Or even start your own wacky cult, espousing alien messiahs, Panspermia, or sacramental past life trauma clearing.
Whatever works…!
As long as it isn’t traditional Christianity, which is too intolerant and insistent on ultimate truth.
Mass Unemployment:
We’re moving in this direction as small businesses crash in record numbers because of the COVID-19 plandemic.
People will either die, work for Amazon, or receive a subsistence living handout.
You’ll live in a meager pod eating vegan nuggets.
Your only excitement will be VR goggle adventures on your couch.
Health by Injection:
If you want to qualify for your 60-minute weekly outdoor pass, you better have all your shots on record.
Vaccines are the only path to “true” health in this technocratic world. They won’t let you out with the rest of the population if you’re a walking bio-hazard.
Have you heard about
DNA population screening technologieslike CommonPass…?
Resource Control:
Real wealth is control of tangible resources like gold, lumber, fuel, and wood.
Wealthy capitalists (
the Global Elite) are on board with ending the current monetary system as soon as they’ve monopolized natural resources.
This will give them more power and control as we slip-slide into the technocracy. But, wealthy kleptocrats aren’t the only ones gobbling up the goods.
Government agencies and NGOs are sucking up sovereign resources at an alarming rate.
UN Heritage designations cordon off land from the public. The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is grabbing as many acres as it can.
Even groups like the Nature Conservancy are complicit, using donated funds to buy land, which they flip to the BLM.
Conserving nature is the cover, while they grab all the resource-rich land. A few acres are set aside for public use. All of the stolen assets will be moved into a global trust managed by the ruling class.
This is where “sustainable development” comes in.
Again, sounds great but they twist being good stewards of the earth into…
“only we can manage the Earth’s resources properly, so let’s take away as much land from private citizens and the commonwealth as possible.”
It’s a power grab…!
Learn about UN Agenda 21 and the difference between governance and government.

Trial Run China – Practice Makes Perfect
China is running a technocratic experiment right now, including a sophisticated social credit score system.
Perfect place to test. Don’t say the right thing on Tik Tok, and no public transportation for you. If the infraction is serious enough off to the camp you go.
The elites love China. It’s easier to implement technocracy in a totalitarian regime with a huge technology sector.
David Rockefeller sung the praises of Chairman Mao Tse-Tung and his regime in 1973 in a New York Times piece called From a China Traveller.
After visiting China Rockefeller said Mao fueled great progress, but there are minor cultural issues they might want to clean up.
On the whole, it was a glowing review for the Great Leap Forward regime that murdered an estimated 45+ million of its own people.
Wood said:
“This will slowly be implemented in the US.
They already limit how much of your money you can withdraw. That conditions us to accept the absurd. If your smart meter says you had a few too many hot showers last month, you get put on the no fly list.
Who are you approaching to complain? City council? Mayor? Governor? Your congressman?
They’ll just shrug.
‘It’s the system. AI runs it. Can’t change the system’.”
History of Technocracy
In its nascent days, technocracy was an alternative economic solution.
Scientists thought they could base the perfect economy on energy rather than supply and demand. They wanted to do away with money, and price everything with energy instead.
They thought it was possible to implement a system to…
- Forecast the amount of energy produced in a given month.Â
- Divide the total energy by the number of people.
- Dole out energy credits based on that number. (Sounds a lot like carbon credits.)Â
At the end of month the energy credits expired if unspent. Or if you use them up early in the month, you have no means of exchange until the following month’s allocation.
Technocrats also believed they could price goods by the amount of energy it took to make it.
No supply and demand. No market. Just scientists and engineers with models…
Henri Saint-Simon, the patron saint of the technocratic movement, was hinting at scientific control in the early 1800s.
“A scientist my dear friends is a man who foresees. It is because science provides the means to predict that it is useful. And scientists are superior to all other men.”
Henri Saint-Simon
Wood said:
“Saint-Simon proposed that the religious leadership of his day should literally be replaced by a priesthood of scientists and engineers, who would interpret the oracle of science in order to make declarations to society on the human actions necessary to lead mankind to Utopia.
Thus, science would be elevated to a state of immutable godhood, worshiped by its followers, who are led by its priests.”
As with most radical ideologies, philosophies, governance systems, technocracy blossomed into a totalitarian vision of the future.
In the early 1900s, humanism, communism, fascism, socialism, and scientism all came to the fore and found a nexus in technocracy. The early decades of the 1900s were all about radical philosophies that would shake the world out of its Christian stupor.
IBM’s work on the tabulating machine found its way into the hands of the Nazis, who used the newly discovered computing power for efficient data manipulation and population tracking.
This was a major leap from an economic system to a sophisticated framework for social control.
Methods of technocratic control continued to develop, but didn’t gain a solid foothold until Zbigniew Brzezinski picked it up again in the 1970s.
He was professor at Columbia when he wrote, Between Two Ages – America’s Role In The Technetronic Era, which caught the eye of David Rockefeller.
Together they formed the Trilateral Commission in 1973 to hobnob with their elite colleagues and craft world-changing policy outside the bureaucratic slog, and will of the people.
Using Fear to Fool Citizens Into Giving Up Civil Liberties
Technocracy, like all totalitarian ideologies, is a breach of civil liberties.
It’s hard to get populations, who cling to notions of liberty, to submit without persuasion.
Enter fear…!
Oligarchs scare the people to manufacture docile consent to draconian measures.
Safety and security is more important than freedoms.
We inch our way to totalitarianism.
The threats are so amorphous and terrifying, we can’t help but put our trust in those with the plan.
- Global warming
- Terrorism
- Mystery viruses
What can you do to stop them?
They strike at any time. There’s nothing we can do, but follow orders.
But,
What if these “threats” were fabricated or overblown to move the agenda forward?
What if they
controlled of all the media, corporations, politicians, academia, and scientists to push any narrative they wanted at any time?
If they truly believe in the personal life-enriching potential of technocracy,
do you think they would pause for even a moment to think about the shady use of Big Fear to control the masses?
The Consequences of Technocracy
“If technocracy wins this battle and they implement it on a global basis it will again take hundreds of years, a least hundreds of years, before the concept of freedom and liberty will surface again.
It will take a very long time.
Won’t just come snapping back. Will not be a fade. Once they get control over the economic mechanism they will virtually have control over life itself.

He speaks widely on topics of economics, technology, social philosophy, and culture. Adobe Stock Technocracy’s Coup d’Etat is Fully Underway… In March 2020, at the very start of the “Great (Covid) Panic of 2020“, I wrote that ‘Technocracy’s coup d’Etat was fully underway‘… I had anticipated it in my 2015 book, Technocracy Rising – The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation, on pages 206-207, so it was easy to see it playing out in real-time. Fours years later, it is killing us. For all the scoffers and nay-sayers who mocked my historical thread of Technocracy, thankfully, they are starting to get the picture four years later. It may be too late to engage in the battle, but we must try. This enemy is strong, rich, unelected, mostly unseen, and treacherous. They have all the levers of technology at their disposal. By comparison, we have sticks and stones. However, we outnumber them by twenty thousand to one. Kudos to Jeffrey Tucker for his conclusion, “It was a digital-age coup d’Etat unlike anything humanity has ever experienced,” and spotting the markers of Technocracy such as “mass censorship”, “universal basic basic income”, “mass population surveillance” and most importantly, “crushing of ‘populist’ movements worldwide.” Crushing populism? Yes. You will remember that the first tenet of historic Technocracy was “the science of social engineering.” Populists propose to think for themselves, to make their own choices and to determine their own future. Thus, populists are odious and anathema to Technocrats. Source There was a time. What seemed to be unfolding was a huge intellectual error for the history books. A new virus had come along and everyone was freaking out and smashing all normal social functioning… The excuse turns out just to be the cover story. Still, it bears examination. Even though plenty of outside commentators said the pathogen should be handled in the normal way – with known treatment and calm while those most susceptible stayed cautious until endemicity – some people on the inside fell prey to a great fallacy. They had come to believe computer models over known realities. They thought that you could separate everyone, drive down infections, and then the virus would die out. This was never a plausible scenario, as anyone who knew something about the history of pandemics would report. All known experience stood against this cockmamie scheme. The science was very clear and widely available: lockdowns do not work… Physical interventions in general achieve nothing. But, hey, they said it was an experiment born of new thinking. They would give it a whirl. When it became clear that the lockdowners had gained sway over policy, many of us thought, truly, how long can this really last? A week, maybe two. Then we would be done. But then something strange happened. The money began to flow. And flow. The states thought that was awesome so they kept it up. The money printers got to work. And general chaos broke out: social, cultural, educational, economic, and political. It all happened so fast. The months rolled on with no break in the narrative. It became crazy after a time. There were so few critics. We didn’t know it but they were being silenced by a new machinery that had already been constructed for this purpose. Among that which was censored was criticism of the inoculation potion that was being rolled out and which would eventually be forced on populations all over the world. They said it was 95 percent effective, but it wasn’t clear what that could mean. No coronavirus had ever been controlled by any vaccination. How could this be true? It wasn’t true. Nor did the shot stop the spread… Many people said this at the time. But we couldn’t hear them. Their voices were muffled or silenced. The social media companies had already been taken over by government-connected interests working on behalf of intelligence agencies. We had believed that these tools were designed to increase our connections with others and enable free speech. Now they were being used to broadcast a preset regime narrative. Strange industrial shifts took place. Gas cars were deprecated in favor of a new experiment in electric vehicles, thanks to intense consumer demand caused by shortages owing to supply chain breakages. Digital learning platforms got a huge boost because physical classrooms were closed. Online ordering and doorstep delivery became the rage because people were told not to leave their homes and small businesses were forcibly closed. The pharma companies were riding high of course, gradually acculturating the population to a subscription model. There were attempts to convert whole countries to a health passport system. New York City tried this, along with actual physical segregation of the entire city, with the vaccinated considered clean while the unvaccinated were not allowed into restaurants, libraries, or theaters. The digital app didn’t work however, so that plan fell apart quickly. All of this happened in less than one year. What began as an intellectual error in public health ended up looking like a digital coup d’Ă©tat. Coups of the past featured rebel armies from the hills storming the cities and joined by the military as they invaded the palace and the leader and his family fled in a carriage or helicopter depending on the epoch. This was different. It was organized and planned by intelligence agencies within the structure of the global state, a great reset to reject the forms of the past and replace them all with a new dystopia. Initially, the people who said this was a great reset were derided as crazed conspiracy theorists. But then it turned out that the head of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Klaus Schwab, had written a book (Covid-19 – The Great Reset) by the very title that you could buy from Amazon. It turns out to be HG Wells‘s The Open Conspiracy updated for the 21st-century technology… There turns out to be much more than that. There was an angle to all of this that impacts the mechanisms we use for democratic control of societies. Buried in the flurry of bills shoved through in March 2020 was a liberalization of balloting and voting that would never have been tolerated before. In the name of social distancing, mail-in ballots would become the norm, along with the known irregularities they introduce. Implausibly, this too was part of the plan. Researching and realizing all of this in real time has been a bit much. It has shattered the old ideological paradigms. The old theories no longer explain the world as it is unfolding. It causes all of us to revisit our priors, at least those with minds adaptable enough to pay attention. For vast swaths of the intellectual class, this is not possible. Looking back, we should have known something was up at the outset. There were too many anomalies… Were the people in charge really so stupid as to believe that you can make a virus go away by making everyone stay home? It’s absurd. You cannot control the microbial kingdom this way, and surely everyone with a modicum of intelligence knows this. Another clue: there never was an exit plan… What exactly was fourteen days of frozen activity going to achieve? What was the benchmark of success? We were never told… Instead, the elites in media and government simply encouraged fear. And then met that fear with ridiculous protocols like dousing ourselves with sanitizer, masking while walking, and presuming every other person is a disease vector. This was psychological warfare. To what end and how ambitious are these hidden plans for us? Only four years later, we are grasping the fullness of what was going down. For those of us schooled in the persistent incompetence of government to get anything right, much less deploy a plan with anything like precision, elaborate conspiracy theories of plots and schemes always seem implausible. We just don’t believe them…! This is why it took us so long to see the fullness of what was deployed in March 2020, a scheme that combined a plethora of seemingly disparate governmental/industrial ambitions including: rollout of subscription/platform model of Pharma distribution mass censorship election management/rigging universal basic income industrial subsidies to digital platforms mass population surveillance cartelization of industry shift in income distribution and entrenchment of administrative state power crushing of ‘populist’ movements worldwide the centralization of power generally speaking To top it off, all these efforts were global in scope. This whole model truly stretches the bounds of plausibility. And yet all the evidence points to exactly the above. It just goes to show that even if you don’t believe in conspiracies, conspiracies believe in you. It was a digital-age coup d’Ă©tat unlike anything humanity has ever experienced. How long will it take us to process this reality? We seem to be only at the early stages of understanding, much less resisting. |

PART 2 HERE…
The Great Reset was a global ‘initiation’ rite, drawing embodied souls into the digital realm.
Shaken by the contagion, otherwise normal people recoiled from human contact and were forced to become transhuman screen-monkeys. As the New Normal intensified, this dependence became a feature, not a bug.
Despite the topic’s obvious relevance, most discussion of transhumanism remains on the fringe. When serious people do confront it in public, they tend to skirt the hard problems or simply mock the notion.
Yet in these ten documents, published between 2019 and 2021, we see an open embrace of transhumanist ideas by,
military, government, and corporate analysts…
The concept of “transitional humans” hurtling toward a technological Singularity unfolds on three levels.
The bedrock is biological life – our bodies and brains.
Above that is cultural life, where embodied souls are guided by language, tools, and custom.
In the 20th century, the emergence of artificial life – silicon-based digital beings – opened bizarre possibilities.
Presently, five vectors are rapidly converging on the transhuman ideal:
- Gene-editing (body)
 - Neuroenhancement (brain)
 - Bionics (cyborg culture)
 - Robotics (digital body)
 - Artificial Intelligence (digital brain)
The documents below chart that convergence, each from a different angle.
One after another, they confront the total transformation of human beings through technology. Cyborgs are already among us, and commercial brain-computer interfaces (BCI) loom just over the horizon.
If the eyes are windows to the soul, then electrodes snaking into gray matter will be thieves slipping in the backdoor.
As you’ll see, that door is wide open…
1 – UK Ministry of Defense – Human Augmentation (2021)

Transhumanist ambitions are made possible by military technology.
In the 1960’s, the first serious efforts to create a brain-computer interface were funded by the U.S. Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Two decades later, the Internet was developed to make communication lines redundant in case of nuclear war.
‘Human Augmentation – A New Paradigm’, commissioned by the UK’s Ministry of Defense, follows various technological threads to their logical conclusions.
A central goal is to merge minds with machines in an intimate human-AI symbiosis:
The ability to enhance one’s physical, psychological, or social capability has been a source of power throughout history, and warfare is the epitome of this dynamic…
Human augmentation will become increasingly relevant, partly because it can directly enhance human capability and behavior, and partly because it is the binding agent between people and machines.
Future wars will be won, not by those with the most advanced technology, but by those who can most effectively integrate the unique capabilities of both people and machines…
Thinking of the person as a platform and understanding our people at an individual level is fundamental to successful human augmentation.
Beyond cyborg super soldiers, the principle of transcending human limitation through technology is also being applied to civilian populations.
One critical concept is that standard tools and transformative technologies – from the abacus to smartphones to brain implants – exist on a spectrum.
Page 72
In the curiously prescient image below, we see a man using an implanted BCI to type “Hello world” onscreen. Keep in mind, this document was published in May of 2021.
Eight months later, an actual paralyzed man used his Stentrode implant – developed by Synchron – to send the first tweet using only the brain.
His message?
“
In a follow-up tweet, the patient said:
“
my hope is that I’m paving the way for people to tweet through thoughts“.
Page 48
Imagine receiving neuro-enhancement that could rid you of bigotry, or suspicion, or even your warped sense of humor.
If “diversity is our strength,” then a polyglot, digitally enhanced super-organism will be unassailable:
Human augmentation could help improve social cohesion by increasing participation in society regardless of individual differences or impediments.
Human augmentation could also allow people to connect in more intense and creative ways (for example, via linked brain-machine interfaces).
Human augmentation will also provide tools for people to express their individuality in more pronounced ways, potentially leading to a more diverse society.
Considering the rise of biosecurity states across the globe, an especially horrific aspect of Human Augmentation is the comparison of anti-cyborg sentiments to vaccine hesitancy:
The history of vaccinations demonstrates how proven, and seemingly uncontroversial human augmentation technologies can take many years to become globally effective and accepted by societies…
This example shows that we cannot assume human augmentation will be automatically effective or accepted in its intended use, no matter how beneficial its effects may be…
Human augmentation may be resisted by elements of society that do not trust the effectiveness and motive of augmentation.
Of course, no review of our cyborg future would be complete without indie bio-hacking.
According to the implant company Dangerous Things, anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 people already have digital bio-implants in their bodies.
Perhaps inspired by biblical prophecy, many of these are RFID chips embedded in the hand:
Radio-frequency identification and near-field communication implants are popular biohacks.
Once inserted, these ‘chips’ can be used for a great variety of identification purposes.
They can replace many of our keys and passwords, allowing us to unlock doors, start vehicles, and even log onto computers and smart devices.
From chipped hands to chipped heads, the Cyborg Age has arrived…
As with many innovations – virtual reality, neuro-implants, smartphone components – the technologies first developed in military labs are gradually diffusing into our day-to-day lives.
2 – IBM – Privacy and the Connected Mind (2021)

[h/t Phil Gibson @PezntJournalist]
All of these ten documents contain a mixture of breathless enthusiasm and dire warnings.
On balance, IBM errs on the side of caution. A brain-computer interface could lead to unprecedented psychological surveillance and mind control by authorities.
Beyond that, the danger of having your brain hacked are quite real.
Still, the authors’ dry description of BCI applications – both invasive implants and non-invasive skull caps – sends a chill down the spine. Imagine a world where drooling kids play video games using only their brains.
On an institutional level, imagine schoolchildren forced to wear brain-monitoring headbands in classrooms.
Imagine having to wear a skull-cap at work, or even just during the hiring process. Imagine all that neurological data being gathered, analyzed, and used by corporations to sell you better iTrodes.
Freaked out? Imagine undergoing transcranial stimulation to put you at ease with the whole situation.
According to IBM’s analysts, those scenarios are just over the horizon:
- Healthcare – where BCIs could monitor fatigue, diagnose medical conditions, stimulate or modulate brain activity, and control prosthetics and external devices.
- Gaming – where BCIs could augment existing gaming platforms and offer players new ways to play using devices that record and interpret their neural signals.
- Employment and Industry – where BCIs could monitor workers’ engagement to improve safety during high-risk tasks, alert workers or supervisors to dangerous situations, modulate workers’ brain activity to improve performance, and provide tools to more efficiently complete tasks.
- Education – where BCIs could track student attention, identify students’ unique needs, and alert teachers and parents of student progress.
- Smart Cities – where BCIs could provide new avenues of communication for construction teams and safety workers and enable potential new methods for connected vehicle control.
- Neuromarketing – where marketers could incorporate the use of BCIs to intuit consumers’ moods and to gauge product and service interest.
- Military – where governments are researching the potential of BCIs to help rehabilitate soldiers’ injuries and enhance communication.
Page 5
Remember, having mandatory electrodes jabbed into your skull is not the most pressing concern. At least, I hope not…
A more immediate problem is the normalization and mass implementation of non-invasive brain technologies.
These will be more easily justified.
For the naturally compliant, they’ll be readily accepted.
There are already high-end BCI helmets on the market, such as Kernel Flow.
When they get cheaper to manufacture and deploy, you’ll start seeing them everywhere.

Facebook made waves when Mark Zuckerberg laid claim to his corner of the Metaverse, but it hardly started with him. This is a concerted effort to place screens over every pair of eyes on the planet.
The XR Association is a flashpoint for this movement.
The organization was founded in 2016 to promote virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality.
Today, members include by,
- Oculus (Facebook/Meta)
- Microsoft
- Google,
- Sony
- Vive,
…and a number of other tech corporations.
The goal is to normalize the Metaverse in business and industry.
Without shame, the XRA openly promotes ‘The Fourth Industrial Revolution‘ as conceived by Klaus Schwab and the WEF:
Immersive technology will play a vital role in America’s drive to Build Back Better, and it will undergird much of our advanced physical and digital infrastructure.
Virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (collectively, immersive technology or “XR”) is helping industries across the spectrum become more innovative, more productive, and safer…
As the World Economic Forum has recognized, we are at the beginning of a Fourth Industrial Revolution – one in which a range of new technologies will fuse the physical and digital worlds, impacting all disciplines, economies, and industries.
As Congress sets to work drafting the 2021 infrastructure package, we urge you to incorporate immersive technology.

In the months after Immersive Technology and Infrastructure was published, capital has poured into countless Metaverse projects.
Today, the media undulates with waves of propaganda depicting lifeless virtual worlds as the coolest thing since sliced bread.
It’s not hard to imagine workers of the future wearing VR goggles on their faces that match the BCI helmets on their heads. If you thought hard hats and hi-viz vests were annoying, you aren’t seen nothing yet.
One argument for stuffing Westerners into a phony virtual realm is to keep up with progress being made in the East.
This is often urged from a military standpoint, but the concept extends to the wider economic landscape as well:
Chinaanticipated this paradigm shift years ago and has taken impressive steps towards controlling its future.
Immersive technology – which will be the key enabler of the metaverse – is featured prominently in the CCP’s Made in China 2025 strategy…
If the United States is to position itself as the global leader of the next century, we need to “future proof” our infrastructure.
One sure fire way to “future proof” society is to assimilate every individual into the MetaBorg. If it’s good enough for China, it’s good enough for you.

The notion of “smart cities” unnerves a lot of people, and for good reason.
A smart city has cameras around every corner and digital sensors embedded in pretty much everything, from your car to your sink faucet.
This interconnected network – linked through the ghoulish Internet of Things – requires massive data flow from device to device. 5G networks are needed to glue any digital termite colony together.
Even now, across Asia and elsewhere, plans are being laid for the 6G revolution.
In this Samsung white paper, we witness milestones in the life of a blonde South Korean digital native – from primitive 4G to modern 5G to ultra-smart 6G.
Page 10
As a wee babe in 2010, she became dependent on her glowing smartphone.
By 2020, she’s an independent woman whose physical being is monitored by wearable devices. Through earbuds, her consciousness is tuned by sensory augmentation.
Even her fridge is smart enough to keep tabs on her.
Nothing is private, nothing is sacred, but everything – down to her pretty little toes – is
smart…
By 2030, her whole consciousness will be shaped by 6G-powered augmented reality.
Indoors, bug-eyed robots will ogle her from her nightstand.
Outside, drones will watch her from the sky.
Over time, she’ll effectively fuse with The Machine.
She won’t just be smart – she’ll be super 6G smart.
But it’ll take a sprawling 6G wireless infrastructure to build her humming smart city and cozy smart home:
[T]oday’s exponential growth of advanced technologies such as
artificial intelligence(AI), robotics, and automation will usher in unprecedented paradigm shifts in the wireless communication.
These circumstances lead to four major megatrends advancing toward 6G:
connected machines, use of AI for the wireless communication, openness of mobile communications, and increased contribution for achieving social goals.
Part of this “connectedness” and “openness” is having every element of your life recorded and replicated in virtual space.
Using that information, corporations and governments can construct a virtual model of your entire being, inside and out. They can anticipate your wants and behaviors, and provide just the right stimulus to keep you in line.
On a broad scale, they can do the same with every person, device, robot, and squirrel within reach of their sensors.
These “digital twins” can then be studied and manipulated in virtual space – soul clones to be played with like dolls:
Digital Replica
With the help of advanced sensors, AI, and communication technologies, it will be possible to replicate physical entities, including people, devices, objects, systems, and even places, in a virtual world.
This digital replica of a physical entity is called a digital twin…
In a 6G environment, through digital twins, users will be able to explore and monitor the reality in a virtual world, without temporal or spatial constraints.
Users will be able to observe changes or detect problems remotely through the representation offered by digital twins.
In order to realize advanced multimedia services such as truly immersive XR, mobile hologram, and digital replica, 6G needs to provide a much higher data rate than 5G.
Come the revolution, augmented humans will live in a technocratic paradise.
We’ll be like wingless eusocial angels, crawling around our 6G-powered termite mound.

Artificial general intelligence is the holy grail for transhumanists.
The human brain is limited, and there’s only so many smart drugs and iTrodes you can cram in your head. To get past that cognitive limit, it’s believed, we’ll need vast AI systems to do the hard thinking for us.
In fact, nearly every paper in this collection notes that human augmentation is the bridge between the feeble human brain and advanced AI.
But,
Who’s developing these AI systems?
And where?
Mapping U.S. Multinationals’ Global AI R&D Activity tracks six Big Tech firms across the world.
Interestingly, most of the experimental work is done overseas.
From the executive summary:
- For the four companies where we could find information on labs – Facebook, Google, IBM, and Microsoft – we found 62 labs conducting AI R&D. The majority of these labs (68 percent) were located outside of the United States.
- European countries, mainly the United Kingdom and France, host 19 percent of AI labs in our dataset. Other common destinations were Israel and China (10 percent each) and India (8 percent). The only region in the world without any AI labs was Latin America.
- Media reports and economic studies suggest U.S. immigration restrictions are associated with U.S. companies’ global expansion.
- Many of the world’s biggest AI companies are American; this paper focuses on Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, IBM, and Microsoft in particular. Together, these companies spend over $76 billion on R&D annually, and their collective market capitalization stands above $5 trillion.
- Their business models are globalized. Apple, Facebook, Google, and IBM each receive less than half of their total revenue from the U.S. market. Microsoft and Amazon receive 51 percent and 69 percent, respectively.
This international market, along with a pliable foreign labor force, provides an explanation for why Silicon Valley and Seattle are so keen on open borders.
To Big Tech, the world is one big pile of data (and dollars) waiting to be sucked up into The Machine.
According to this report, the “number of public AI labs by company” is:
- Google: 23
- Microsoft: 20
- IBM: 11
- Facebook: 8
After seeing the meteoric rise of Google’s DeepMind project – based in the UK – it’s no surprise they dominate the field.
Microsoft is coming up behind them fast, though, and IBM’s Watson is legendary.
While most personnel are based in the U.S. (68%), most of the actual labs are operated overseas (also 68%). Why? Cheap labor, obviously.
But one wonders if AI companies aren’t also attracted by lax ethical constraints. The paper doesn’t say…
As if their seeds were scattered by the four winds, American AI labs have sprouted up across the globe. Many are unaware of this, but Nigeria is a hot spot for computer programmers.
However, for unstated reasons, American AI firms abhor Latin America.
Maybe their bots don’t like llamas and piranhas…
On the other hand, an alarming number of American AI labs currently operate in China. Google and IBM both have a lab there. Of Microsoft’s twenty labs, four are in China.
If you ever wondered how communists came up the ingenious TikTok algorithms to ensare the ‘Merican mind, wonder no more.
Pandas learn fast…

Coincidentally, in the 2019 Netflix documentary Inside Bill’s Brain – Decoding Bill Gates, the last episode centers on Gates’s experimental nuclear power plants in China.
The series ends with Gates bummed out that Trump‘s aggressive policies threw a monkey wrench into his China projects.
Was there an impact on Microsoft’s experimental AI research, too?
How about now, under Biden?
These days, Elon Musk is doing great over there.
Chinese collusion aside, the four “American” corporations tracked above have AI headquarters all over the world:
- Facebook AI Research (FAIR) (Menlo Park, CA | New York, NY | Paris, France | Tel Aviv, Israel | London, UK)
- Google – DeepMind Lab (London, UK)
- IBM Research (Dublin, Ireland)
- Microsoft Research Lab – AI (Redmond, WA, USA)
The top AI labs in the East are:
- Baidu Research (Beijing, China | Silicon Valley, CA, USA)
