Introduction
In 2005 I taught Extraterrestrial Reality, one of the first college sponsored ufology courses in the nation, at Scottsdale Community College through the Community Education department.
The college and local media embraced the course, publicizing it on television, radio and in the print media which filled the class with students. The class had a high caliber of students, many with contact experience and broad intellectual knowledge of the science, history, and metaphysics surrounding UFO and alien or star visitor phenomenon.
Ufology, the study of extraterrestrial phenomenon such as alien visitation, craft sightings, and contact experience, has finally left the dark ages of speculative hypothesis and is growing in regard as a testable scientific theory.
The massive accumulation of physical data from sightings and contact experiences gathered by independent and university researchers, government organizations, the military and experiencers shifts ufology from a mere hypothesis to a theory which can be tested and documented.
Since the 1940’s, a dedicated generation accomplished the hard task of compiling scientific data so that following generations might move research forward without the need to delineate scientific and historical believability of ufology. Intellectual energy need not be channeled into repetitive skepticism and circular criticisms.
Ufology is established as theory. Now commences the work of refining the data and creating scientific applications for the 21st Century as humans move forward in aerospace travel and cosmic consciousness.
The Scottsdale Community College Extraterrestrial Reality course was designed to expand on the idea of what it means to be human in the 21st Century as we relate to forms of intelligent, responsive life originating or occurring beyond or within Earth dimensions. Ufology was presented as an academic body of knowledge.
Conceptual knowledge was combined with hands-on, competency based learning. Participants were encouraged to share and expand on their experiences in a safe, non-judgmental environment. All styles of learning were respected.
Why is an academic ufology curriculum necessary?
It provides a body of knowledge that may be used to understand current news and cultural events. As the media embraces ufology and nightly newscasts of sightings are used to boost audience ratings, a background of ufology is essential in separating the wheat from the chaff. The illusory from the possible. The staged from the actual.
As scientific theories from fields like quantum physics and zero point energy emerge from the subatomic realm into the mainstream, ufology curriculum easily accommodates the new reality. As an extraterrestrial reality becomes pervasive, individuals have a touch stone, an objective body of respected research, to use when examining their subjective experiences.
Subjective experience is recognized as an integral part of ufology.
As participants create their extraterrestrial reality it was necessary to lean on their subjective experience to integrate objective information. My reality shifted while attending the 2005 X-Conference in Washington,
D.C. Jaime Maussan, fondly known as Mexico’s Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes, presented a compilation of UFO videos that had been sent by his viewing audience. During one of his videos, I watched a morphing mother ship, suspended in space, simultaneously digest and launch hundreds of craft. I intuitively sensed that these craft were not the technological nuts and bolts of our aerospace industry, but were plasma-like conscious entities.
Conscious craft were expelled out of the mother ship while others returned. With each flight and landing, the shape of the mother ship morphed into another shape. There was an obvious consciousness component at work. I was enchanted. I was hooked.
I sensed a similarity to human consciousness.
Questions swirled.
- Do humans possess an extraterrestrial conscious ability?
- Is there an extraterrestrial dimension within our consciousness?
- Is it part of our DNA?
- Is it integral to our body as well as our mind?
- If so, what does it do?
- Can we learn to use it?
- Manage it?
- What help is available?
The UFO familiar phrase, “we are not alone” was replaced by the possibility that an examination of consciousness might confirm that “we were never alone.”
Is our body the mother ship and our consciousness the craft? As though a deck of mental cards reshuffled, my paradigm shifted.
All the years of yoga, tantra, body work, and spiritual discipline opened to a new reality.
- Was my body the propellant?
- Was I the zero-point?
- Was the consciousness I so faithfully nurtured and developed being prepared to launch and re-enter the mother ship?
- Was Maussan’s video simply a display of astral projection on a macro-scale?
- Was I both the mother and the ship? If so, how many ships could I launch?
- Did I possess one consciousness or many?
- Could my consciousness multiply?
- Could I possibly evolve into a mother ship with hundreds, if not thousands of craft?
- Were these beings showing me the way?
I began to search for a term to describe the phenomenon I witnessed. Exoconsciousness emerged.
As I integrated the knowledge I witnessed I intuitively knew that humans possess an extraterrestrial consciousness, or exoconsciousness, integral to our bodies and our minds. We possess a cosmic consciousness which links us directly to what the ancients called the star visitors and we term extraterrestrials.
The purpose of this paper is to explore human consciousness as directly linked to the cosmos and its inhabitants and further understand how this cosmic cord could be utilitized to travel, communicate, and evolve as intergalactic beings.
First I had to examine human consciousness.
It seemed to be a key.
Consciousness Craft
Finding an agreed upon definition of consciousness proved illusive.
Consciousness studies, though ancient, had only recently, in the 1990’s, been accepted into academic curriculum. In consciousness studies, biologists researching the neurological workings of the brain joined with mathematicians postulating quantum theories and philosophers eager to move beyond dualism and perhaps even resurrect Platonic ideals more amenable to quantum science.
As these academics dialogued, a definitive, consensual definition of consciousness dissolved. The academic waters muddied, though they may soon clear.
Common use of consciousness may refer to the opposite of unconscious. One who is conscious is awake and alert. One who is unconsciousness is in an altered state, either chemically or sleep induced.
Susan Blackmore, in an attempt to mold consciousness studies into a text book curriculum, defines consciousness as,
“knowing something, or attending to something”.
(Blackmore 5)
It is the equivalent of subjectivity, the first person view of the world. Consciousness doesn’t fit neatly into brain studies or biological definitions.
She boldly asserts,
“studying consciousness will change your life”.
(Blackmore 5)
One is left wondering whether her consciousness assertion includes changing your scientific theories and academic assumptions.
Others, such as Leslie Brothers, a psychiatrist, question whether consciousness is an entity or a thing. Is it only a concept?
Stuart Hameroff, an anesthesiologist, who handles patient consciousness on a daily basis, asserts that consciousness in a restrictive sense is experience. It is an awareness possessed by biological systems.
Joe Bogen, neurosurgeon, maintains that the brain produces consciousness. He looks at levels – subcellular, cytoskeleton, microtubles, cellular, circuit levels, as well as how one brain interacts with others. Agreement is scarce. Disagreement is the consensus (Kuhn).
At a Tucson Conference in 1994, philosopher David Chalmers pulled the consciousness discussion toward what he defined as the hard problem and the easy problems.
The easy consciousness problems were not solved, but we were making progress.
The easy problems included the brain’s ability to,
- discriminate, categorize and react to environmental stimuli
- integrate information
- report on its own mental states
- focus attention
- exert deliberate control over behavior
The hard problem was determining how standard physiological processes translate to subjective experience (Huff).
- What is it like to be a biological organism?
- What is it like to be in a given mental state?
The thorny philosophical mind body issues were once again on stage and experience the star as the hard problem.
The media weighed in on the hard problem and speculated in movies such as Matrix that evil computer aliens imposed a version of reality on humans from the outside. Chalmers seems to question the scriptwriter’s fantasy. Instead he theorizes that the brain appears to be constructing reality from within on the fly as waves of sensory information flood from the outer world. He marvels at how our brain processes a tsunami of sensory data (Huff).
Our brain’s involvement is essential.
In Wider than the Sky: The Phenomenal Gift of Consciousness, Nobel Prize winning neuroscientist, Gerald Edelman uses magnetoencephalography, a non-invasive technique to explain the workings of our brain. He measured tiny electromagnetic currents in small groups of neurons to develop neurological correlates of consciousness.
He determined that there is no one place in the brain where consciousness takes place. No command center. There is also a wide variation in neural response among individuals responding to the same stimulus or scene. Finally he determines that the brain or the mind is not “software.”
He agrees with William James that,
“thoughts don’t necessarily need a thinker.”
His research points to the possibility that our working brain was not designed, but evolved, as he postulates a “neural Darwinism” (O’Reilly).
The promising model of anesthesiologist Hameroff and mathematician Penrose proposes that quantum computation occurs in cytoskeletal microtubles within the brain’s neurons.
“The basic idea is that consciousness involves brain activities compiled to self-organizing ripples in fundamental reality. Brain stimulates reality based on sensory input and is also intimately connected to that reality at the quantum level”.
(Huff)
What about cosmic consciousness as the evil alien computers? Is it a media parody of reality at the quantum level?
“In Panpsychism theory, mind is fundamental in the universe. All matter has associated mental aspects or properties… Everything in the universe is seen as conscious”.
(Blackmore11)
Critics of panpsychism question why then have both physical and mental properties.
Another door that leads to the hard problem. But Chalmers indicates that the door must be opened. At the 1994 Tucson conference he claimed that consciousness was a fundamental constituent of reality. It may be a building block of the universe, as photons are to light. Consciousness may be an inherent requirement of all that surrounds and composes us (Huff).
Is the evil alien computer simply a means of imaging consciousness at the quantum level, albeit a fearful image? The physicists, neurosurgeons, philosophers and mathematicians substitute the less threatening term proto-consciousness to indicate that consciousness may be a fundamental constituent of reality, a building block.
Is this a spiritual force? Danah Zohar merges religion and science with proto-consciousness.
In her book SQ: Connecting with our Spiritual Intelligence she writes that David Chalmers,
“suggests that something called proto-consciousness is a fundamental property of all matter, just like mass, charge, spin and location. In this view, proto-consciousness is a natural part of the fundamental physical laws of the universe and has been present since the beginning of time.
Everything that exists – fundamental particles like mesons and quarks, atoms, stones, tree trunks…possess proto-consciousness”.
(Zohar 81)
- Is proto-consciousness the universal “mud” where Buddhists image the stem of the lotus rooting, emerging to flower as individual spiritual path?
- Are we all rooted in proto-consciousness and emerge from the stem of creation to follow our designated spiritual paths this lifetime?
Zohar agrees,
“if neural oscillations in the brain were a coherent version of a fundamental property pervading the whole universe, then our human SQ roots us not just in life but at the very heart of the universe. We become children, not just of life, but of the cosmos”.
(Zohar 82)
Proto-consciousness, the mud of consciousness, may also be the answer to riddles of string theory.
According the Michio Kaku, string theory was stumbling over the possibility of a world hidden from our senses. Quantum theory made it impossible to pinpoint the exact location of atomic particles like electrons. They had no single location. Subatomic worlds operated by outlandish laws that called into question many scientific theories. Kaku began to solve the riddle of subatomic worlds by positing the possibility of parallel worlds.
He identified the difficulties of merging string theory and cosmological concepts like the big-bang. The laws of string theory physics break down with the big bang. String theory formulas failed to work with the big bang. Then a once dismissed theory of super gravity re-emerged with an elegant 11 string theory.
After years of being dismissed by the string theorists, the super gravity model of 11 strings offered hope.
“The astonishing conclusion was thatall the matter in the Universe wasconnectedto one vast structure: a membrane. The quest to explain everything in the Universe could begin again and at its heart would be this new theory. It was dubbed Membrane Theory or
M Theory”.
(Barlow 12)
In the super gravity model, gravity was noted as extremely weak in comparison with other forces.
They questioned whether this weakness was because gravity was leaking from our universe. Then the question was flipped, what if gravity was in fact leaking into our universe from another universe. Perhaps a parallel universe.
Membrane Theory and 11 string dimensions indicated it was so.
- How does consciousness fit in Membrane Theory?
- If mathematicians could work with the force of gravity to develop formulas to fit Membrane Theory, what about the nature of consciousness?
- Was consciousness leaking out of our brains?
- Or was consciousness leaking in from a membrane into our brains and bodies?
- Was M theory, mother theory?
- Were our prehistoric matrilineal ancestors on to a significant cosmic fact that we moderns have overlooked?
- Might our culture be preparing to re-embrace the Great Mother?
- Was the evil alien computer really a nurturing great mother – Kwan Yin, Magdalene, Mother Mary, Isis, Mother of the Universe?
DNA Mother Ship
What was the role of the human body in quantum consciousness?
Returning to Jaimie Maussan’s video of the mother ship launching and recovering the conscious craft entities, what role does the human body serve? Traditional science perceives the body as a thing, a biological, biomechanical machine that can be regulated with chemical reactions, using drugs. Yet this image of the body falls short when related to cosmic quantum consciousness.
The valiant genome project proposes many answers in understanding human genetic makeup while it also left the door open to flood science with new questions. The discovery and understanding of DNA left scientists having to address the issue of junk DNA and phantom effects.
When confronted with the reality of junk DNA, the scientific manifesto “nature is not profligate” began to sound hollow. If, as the traditional scientists speculated nature never provides more than is needed for an organism to function in its environment, how did scientists solve the riddle of junk DNA?
Junk DNA researchers argue that the majority, 97%, of our DNA does nothing. In this Buddhist realm of “nothingness”, scientist Colm Kelleher speculated on the activity of transposons.
According to Kelleher, these useless 3 million base pairs of junk DNA await activation by retrotransposons, creating a jumping DNA phenomenon.
“Only 3% of human DNA encodes the physical body. The remaining 97% of the 3 billion base pair genome contains over a million genetic structures, called transposons, that have the capacity to jump from one chromosomal location to another. Transposons that jump to a new location via an RNA intermediate are known as retrotransposon”.
(Kelleher 9)
According to Kelleher, there were confirmed cases of retrotransposon activation of previously unused, “read junk”, DNA.
This quantum-like DNA jumping phenomenon bolstered Nobel Prize winning scientist, Barbara McClintock’s assumption that our genetic code or DNA was not a,
“static structure, transmitted unchanged generation to generation”.
(Kelleher 11)
Instead, she asserts that certain DNA sequences jump from one location to another. In other words, our genetic blueprint changes with this jumping phenomenon and Kelleher believes we are able to influence the movement.
Designing research experiments to track DNA sequence-jumping was most successful when performed as cancer research.
“…it must be emphasized that in humans only the disease-causing consequences of transposition have so far been found…It is very difficult to catch an element ‘in the act’ of moving to a different chromosomal location”.
(Kelleher 13)
Despite the research hurdles, Kelleher makes a bold claim and traces this activation process, or jumping DNA, to possibly explain dramatic physical conversions initiated by metaphysical or religious experience.
He cites the sages, mystics and yogis who experience age reversion, levitation, transfiguration, and possibly ascension as possibly resulting from jumping DNA. He seems to indicate that humans can somehow tap the human potential that lays dormant in our DNA and utilize it for miraculous abilities and achievements.
As ancient and modern spiritual disciples have long claimed, their DNA changed (jumped) as their discipline intensified and their level of enlightenment heightened.
Awakened kundalini exemplifies another possible DNA conversion on a cellular level. Awakened disciples often comment on the feeling that every cell in their body shifts during a tantra episode of kundalini.
As tantra disciple Richard Sauder writes, his body changed with an infusion of metaphysical/physical voltage.
My spinal column was turbo-charged with what felt like 50,000 volts of rippling, crackling electricity that came surging up my spine with an ear-splitting roar and arced out of the top of my skull… my heart chakra was powerfully opened and I could see all around me without any physical impediment… the heart itself sees, with great acuity and without physical restriction, when in a state such as this.
(Sauder, 11)
Could the DNA, opened through kundalini practices, be one of the paths toward cosmic consciousness?
Kelleher seems to be pointing to DNA as a potential physical propellant system with which to launch a consciousness craft and then recall it back into the body. Junk DNA and the quantum jumping phenomenon may be an energy system innate in the human body.
Have generations of spiritual masters perfected this technique until the 21st Century when it may tip into the mainstream? The populated floor of yoga studios seems to indicate the path is opening.
Kenneth Ring, author of The Omega Project: Near Death Experiences, UFO Encounters and Mind at Large, compares lengthy and spontaneous or quick enlightenment experiences. The enlightenment accessed by a lifetime discipline of a spiritual master may be the same as the dramatic, quickening of enlightenment triggered by near death experiences (NDE) and UFO encounters.
Depending on the individual and the culture, the enlightenment process may be fast or slow, yet the quality of experience was similar. In a technological culture, the increasingly commonplace emergency room revival of “dead” patients provides a strong data base to examine the spiritual enlightenment of NDE.
This research dovetails the increasingly commonplace UFO sightings by our current culture, researched contact reports, and internet email forums as yet another database of enlightenment research (Ring).
According to the esteemed Harvard psychiatrist, John Mack, who interviewed, tested and diagnosed numerous contact experiencers, they all seemed to move through similar stages.
His book, Passport to the Cosmos: Human Transformations and Alien Encounters identified four dimensions accessed by the experiencers.
- First, each was taken against their will and given fear producing intrusive procedures.
- Second, upon completion and returning to everyday life, they often experienced a sense of isolation and estrangement.
- Third, they experienced an “ontological shock” where their normal paradigms of belief and values had to shift. They knew they were not alone in the universe.
- Fourth, after the paradigm shift, many seemed to manifest a spiritual enlightenment.
Many experiencers interviewed and treated by Mack pushed through the terror of abduction to experience the beauty of the cosmic source of their being.
They also began to experience a consciousness that could separate from and return to their body. This consciousness could live in multiple universes simultaneously (Mack ).
The separation and return of consciousness that Mack describes reflects the experience of the mother ship and the consciousness craft. His research nudges us to ponder whether we as a species are being “pushed” into a spiritual awakening through UFO, contact encounters as well as Near Death Experiences.
Our species is not only accelerating our economic wealth, our collection of data information, our speed of travel, we are also accelerating our spiritual evolution. What once required a lifetime of disciplined, isolated, rigorous prayer and self-denial now was accomplished by an almost over-night NDE or close encounter.
As DNA research opens human physical possibilities, our fears and limitations fade. We no longer need to limit or block our evolution; we simply need to jump into a new consciousness propelled by the power of our DNA.
Two streams – DNA and consciousness – are merging. Yet the merging is often perceived as chaotic and oppositional. Is our scientific understanding of the potential power of our DNA influencing our understanding of the enlightenment phenomenon? Or is the inflating scientific database driving our need to make sense of our human potential?
Regardless of the origin, 21st Century humans seem quick to convert their image of their human body into a quantum field of potential rather than a biological machine.
Beyond our consciousness, brain and mind, our entire body is involved in exoconsciousness.
As the kundalini experience highlights, our heart energies also seem integrally involved in raising our body’s frequency to manufacture a consciousness propellant. 21st Century physicians are beginning to take apart the body’s engine – not as mechanic, piece by piece, organ by organ, but as quantum physicians – energy by energy, frequency by frequency.
The DNA phantom effect studies the quantum quality inherent in our physical bodies.
DNA phantom effect as researched by Vladimer Poponin and Kirlian photography presents the best evidence to date of the quantum subtle energy phenomenon in our genetic makeup. In the 1990’s the Russian researcher Poponin discovered an amazing relationship between DNA and light.
He developed a series of experiments to research the patterns of light in the controlled environment of a vacuum. Under the vacuum conditions the light fell into a random distribution. He then placed physical samples of DNA into the chamber and found that in the presence of genetic material, the patterns of the light particles shifted. The random pattern changed with the presence of DNA.
A new pattern emerged resembling waves as they crested and fell. When DNA was withdrawn, he assumed the light would revert to the prior random distribution, but instead a new pattern emerged.
The presence of DNA affected the light photons even after it was withdrawn (Poponin).
- Did DNA possess a force that lingered long after the genetic material was withdrawn?
- If so, what does this say about the power of our body’s presence in the physical world?
The presence of our DNA seems to have a measurable effect in the physical world.
If this effect can be measured, it can be understood. If it can be understood, it can be used effectively. The human heart is the starting point.
California researchers adopted the discoveries of Kilian photography and Poponin’s DNA phantom affect to create a new understanding of the power of the human heart. The Heartmath project wanted to harness the power of the heart frequencies to accelerate and heal the body. As with kundalini experience, Heartmath researches determined that the heart possesses the most powerful electrical field in the body.
This powerful field coming from the heart also has the ability to entrain or bring other energy systems in the body into its frequency. Like a mother with a fussy child, properly used, our heart pulls the disparate energy systems in our body into a higher harmony. This included the brain. In an electrical sense, our hearts rule our heads.
In The Hidden Power of the Heart, Heartmath researchers also needed to incorporate the quantum model to understand the energy field of the heart. They too turned to genetic research to understand how the powerful DNA blueprint in each and every cell of the human body holds the perfect image of the total body as a holographic template. Kirlian or holographic photography demonstrated a phantom affect that lingered when a leaf was cut.
The Kirlian phantom leaf effect occurred when a researcher photographed a leaf with a hole cut in the center. Instead of a marred leaf, holographic photography revealed the whole, perfect leaf. Once again evidence seemed to indicate that within the DNA structure of every living thing a force remains after the genetic substance is withdrawn (Paddison 167).
Is our DNA a product of our extraterrestrial nature? As we become familiar with our intergalactic self, the power inherent in our DNA may be used more effectively.
A group of extraterrestrial researchers investigates ancient myths of human origins to find whether a common extraterrestrial thread weaves the story of our beginnings.
Is the Stuff of the Stars in Us?
As scientific information emerges regarding the hidden potential of our DNA, quantum cosmic consciousness information regarding our possible cosmic, extraterrestrial origins seems to parallel the scientific disclosures.
While information of our possible extraterrestrial origins is currently on a divergent research tangent, largely ignored by the scientific community, some mainline researchers are embracing the possibility. Yet, most extraterrestrial research is independent of the academic, scientific community. Despite the exclusion, a growing number of independent researchers are opening much needed information.
These independent researchers are trained academic scholars who hold themselves to high research standards, regardless of the present separation from their academic community. Due to their commitment, information on our possible extraterrestrial origins is becoming widely available.
The godfather of extraterrestrial origins research is Zecharia Sitchin, a biblical scholar knowledgeable in modern and ancient Hebrew, Old Testament, Semitic and European languages. Sitchin researched ancient Sumerian documents for 30 years prior to the publication of The Twelfth Planet.
According to Sitchin, Sumer, which was biblical Shin’ar, was situated on the plain between the Tigris and Euphrates, site of current-day Iraq. This ancient civilization held knowledge of the full solar system with all outer planets, including Uranus which was discovered in 1781, Neptune which was discovered in 1846 and Pluto which was discovered in 1930.
The Sumerian story of the planet earth’s creation is that when Planet Nibiru, (“Planet of the Crossing” or “Planet X”) entered our solar system, one of its moons collided with planet Tiamat, breaking it in two. One half became an asteroid belt and one half became planet earth. Planet Nibiru, according to the Sumerians, is on a large elliptical orbit that brings it into our solar system between Mars and Jupiter every 3,600 years.
Its arrival is announced with a comet-like tail called the “seed of life.”
Sitchin’s research also uncovered evidence of our human origin being linked to the Anunnaki, a race whose home planet was Nibiru.
These extraterrestrial beings created humans by a carefully conceived union of their DNA and that of the most advanced human life form on earth at the time. The Sumerian records cite the creation of advanced humans by the Anunnaki for the purpose of mining gold and working as slaves. Despite that fact that immortality was not granted this hybrid human, these hybrid humans were able to cause no end of grief for the Anunnaki.
The documents relate a decision by Enlil, one of the Anunnaki leaders, to cause a global catastrophic flood and weather upheavals to wipe the troublesome hybrid human off the face of the earth.
The Epic of Gilgamesh tells the story of another Anunnaki, Enki, who was dedicated to protecting humans, against his elder brother’s wishes. Enki instructed select humans to build a vessel to survive the floods. Of course this flood story is retold in many versions throughout the world. The best know to the Western world is the Old Testament Noah story. This seems an obvious retelling of the Epic of Gilgamesh.
A primary religious resource for mainstream religious sermons and biblical teaching, The Interpreter’s Bible, briefly references the Sumerian and Babylonians as the basis of the Old Testament.
“Israel drew on a widespread fund of images and ideas to shape into a creation story”.
(Fretheim, 341).
It cites similarity of the Old Testament creation story with Babylonian Enuma Elish, the Epic of Atrahasis, and the Egyptian creation account that emphasized “the word.”
Dissimilarities between the Old Testament and the Sumerian Babylonian creation include an Old Testament lack of
- theogony (listing of Gods)
- conflict among the Gods
- prevailing monotheism
- high value of humans
Similarities between the Old Testament and Babylonia creation include,
- images of God as a potter, working with existing materials
- God fighting with and achieving victory over chaotic forces (Fretheim, 341)
As ancient research aided by technology advances, the slender thread separating the creation stories may soon break, allowing humans a clearer understanding of who we are, and where we came from in order to move forward.
Will Hart in The Genesis Race: Our Extraterrestrial DNA and the True Origins of the Species researches the creation stories of the Old Testament, uncovering a possible extraterrestrial presence.
The two creation stories, Genesis 1 and 2 present divergent creation stories.
- Genesis 1 outlines the familiar seven days of creation
- Genesis 2 outlines the creation of man from dust and the Garden of Eden (Hart 44)
Citing both creation stories, Hart points to the confusion between,
- Yahweh, one God, creating man in his own image
- and Elohim, or the plural “Let us make man in our image” (The New Oxford Annotated Bible, Gen.1.26)
Whether the God of creation is singular or plural, Genesis reflects an almost human nature onto man’s creator. Genesis 3.8 refers to the “sound of the Lord walking in the Garden.” Genesis 3.9 refers to the Lord calling to man “where are you?”
The Lord then makes a garment for Adam and Eve. Genesis 6.2 tells what happened when the “sons of God saw the daughters of man.”
This scripture is often used to refer to the race of giants or the Nefilim. Finally Hart refers to the human nature of angelic appearances in the Old Testament. In Genesis 19, Lot is sitting at the gates of Sodom as the Angels approach. They go to Lot’s house where they eat and speak.
Hart asserts that Old Testament Angels and God(s) of creation who walk and talk may be extraterrestrial beings. Talking, walking, sewing, reproducing all indicate that the God(s) of the Old Testament had human-like qualities and abilities (Hart 61-62).
Hart indicates that the ancient storytellers were pointing to our extraterrestrial ancestors who also may have been instrumental in our creation.
The Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hammadi, additional source documents of the Old Testament, also provide information on our possible extraterrestrial origins.
The Dead Sea Scrolls contain fragments of the books of Enoch in Aramaic. Enoch was known as the first among the children of men born on the Earth with knowledge of writing, science and wisdom from the Angels.
Watchers are a specific divine race of Angels,
“meaning those who watch or those who are awake”.
(Collins 3)
These Watchers are Angels sent from the Lord who come down to Earth to instruct humans to bring about justice and equality. Enoch travels to heaven to meet with the Angels to testify about the interbreeding among Watchers and humans. Punishment was determined to come by flooding the Earth (Enoch 10)
The creation story of the Nag Hammadi refers to the bodies of Adam and Eve as overlaid with horny skin that was bright as daylight, like a luminescent garment, such that they didn’t need clothing.
As Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge,
“She took some of its fruit and ate, and she gave to her husband also…then their minds opened. For when they ate, the light of knowledge shone for them. When they saw their makers, they loathed them since they were beastly forms. They understood very much”.
(Lewels)
These documents refer to a possible extraterrestrial superhuman reptilian race involved in human creation.
Neurologists cite the vestiges of human reptilian heritage in the core of the human brain.
- The R-complex, or reptilian complex is responsible for aggressive behavior, territoriality, ritual, and social hierarchies.
- The middle brain, or limbic system, represents the human mammalian heritage. This part of the brain is responsible for feelings of love, hate, compassion and sentimentality.
- The outer layer of the brain or the neo-cortex is responsible for reasoning, deliberation and the place where we determine the difference between good and evil.
As ancient biblical source documents are examined using technology and lost books become main stream, our extraterrestrial lineage may become more apparent.
Our concept of God(s) may need to readjust and broaden as the truth of our divine maker emerges.
Those familiar with research concerning our extraterrestrial origins are moving into new territory, characterizing certain behaviors and attributes as “Star Seed.”
Star Seed – Human Extraterrestrial Hybrids
Researcher, behavioral scientist, exo-anthropologist and hypnotherapist, Richard Boylan, directs an email group for experiencers and those interested in contact.
His work with experiencers led him to identify and delineate Star Kid characteristics in some children and Star Seed characteristics in some adults.
“A Star Kid, or adult Star Seed, may be defined as a child (of adult) of both human and extraterrestrial origin.
The extraterrestrial contribution to the star person’s makeup may come from:
- genetic engineering (gene splicing of certain Star Visitor genes into the Star Kid’s human parent’s reproductive material)
- physical-mental transformation of an existing youth or adult during an encounter with the Star Visitors
- by a Walk-In experience (where a person’s body almost dies and the consciousness-personality-soul which previously inhabited the body leaves…, and a new and off-world consciousness-personality-soul takes over and inhabits the body, providing continuity of lifespan)
- the directed incarnation of a Star Visitor into a human body to experience a lifetime, but retaining some consciousness from the previous life as a Star Visitor
- the entrance of a Star Visitor consciousness into a human’s mind/cranium to coexist for a brief or longer period as a second consciousness aboard that person alongside their own human consciousness; and utilizing the human’s vision, hearing and other senses and mental processing to vicariously experience what is going on on Earth.
(Boylan)
Therapists and researchers continue to expand the database of experience testimony that points to a high level of psychic ability following contact as identification of “Star Kid” characteristics.
Boylan is compiling an extensive database of information from responses to his “Star Seed Questionnarie.”
The following is a list of “Star Seed” PSI abilities collected from anomalous researchers including Richard Boylan, Ruth Hover, Mary Rodwell, John Mack, and Linda Moulton Howe.
- Telepathy, Clairvoyance, Precognition
- Prophecy, Premonitions, Visions
- Remote Viewing, Lucid Dreaming, Out of Body Experiences
- Time Anomalies, Light Orbs, Presence Apparitions
- Angelic Contact, Divinations, Healing
- Channeling, Psychometry, Psychokinesis
- Auric Vision, Kundalini, Near Death Experiences, Levitation, Astral Travel, Extrasensory Perception
While not providing proof of exoconsiousness, these anomalous researchers are gathering a sufficient scientific database of experiencers’ psychic ability to begin to theorize the presence of an extraterrestrial consciousness.
As these abilities move mainstream, we expect to see an increase in these abilities. We also may understand how to use these abilities through means such as remote viewing, psychic detection and energetic readings. Exploration of the mother ship or Membrane of consciousness holds vast resources of information.
Akashic Records is an ancient name for this consciousness resource of information.
Akashic Records
While Remote Viewers move their consciousness through time and space to a coordinate or geographic earth location, the reader of Akashic Records moves thorough the astral plane to locate a “library” of information.
In Sanskrit, “akasha” translates as primordial substance or that out of which everything is formed. It is historically documented in Hindu, Egyptian, and Persian culture. Possibly the Oracles of Delphi and other Roman visionaries used the Akashic Records.
Robert Bruce defines the Akashic Records as,
“an infinite, never-ending, inter-dimensional, energetic echo field, containing perpetual echoes generated by each and every act of consciousness, in energetic form. Levels of the Akashic Records can be accessed and perceived (viewed) in various ways during an OBE, with the most common being the traditional ‘library’ scenario”
(Bruce 531-2).
Bruce considered the records to be an energetic medium as opposed to the common belief that the records are a structured “esoteric repository” (Bruce 532).
A database of detailed experiences of accessing Akashic Records has been cited in numerous metaphysical and esoteric texts. Certainly, much of Edgar Cayce’s readings came from the records.
What happens during this Akashic Records experience? What can it tell us about the conscious membrane?
If information is energy, the Akashic Records may be available for all human consciousness to access. Meditation and directed relaxation into altered states begins the journey to the records.
Any blocks or beliefs that hinder conscious travel need to be resolved and removed. Remaining conscious so that wisdom from the records may be remembered is essential. Often psychic travelers access the records to answer personal questions regarding the past, present or future for the records are outside the time-space continuum.
When personal information is sought it is necessary to release the ego control of the future and remain within a psychic void to clearly receive information.
The process is most effective when emotions and personal agendas are bracketed, releasing the traveler into the “mystic mind” where duality and fear no longer exit. Some travelers have tested the experience by asking specific historical questions they could not answer, then bringing back information, which they subsequently verified through historical research.
The Akashic Record experience gives the traveler the opportunity to utilize his or his own consciousness to answer important questions as opposed to depending on the psychic ability of another person.
Through continued exercise, one’s consciousness becomes more adept at accessing the records to retrieve information. As with modes of earth travel, there are many ways to access the records.
Individual consciousness determines the best mode of transportation to this energetic realm.
Astral Travel
In her book, Out-of-Body Experiences: A Handbook, Janet Lee Mitchell outlines the methods to access out of body experiences (OBE).
They include sleep and dreams which include unconscious OBE’s, especially dreams of falling or flying. Lucid dreaming takes dream memory to another level by accessing conscious dreams, where the dreamer remembers details of the experience upon awakening. The experience of extreme fatigue may breakdown the body’s conscious and ease the transition into OBE.
The astral body may leave the exhausted physical body to recharge with cosmic energy. Shamanic rituals often invoke extreme exhaustion to ease the OBE. Drugs may be a doorway to conscious expansion, yet don’t seem to directly engender astral travel. While drugs are often touted as astral-friendly, a test of 247 LSD users who had OBE experiences showed that under the influence of drugs they were out of body only three to four percent of the time.
Others tests have shown that LSD and mescaline may promote an increase in body temperature which produces OBE. (Mitchell 20)
Extreme sensory deprivation through Ganzfeld conditions or meditation and hypnosis decreases the body’s motor output and transforms the consciousness to altered states of being. Trauma and psychological stress also trigger altered states of consciousness.
However the method that OBE is achieved, the elasticity of the mind in astral travel corresponds closely with theories of quantum consciousness. In quantum consciousness theory particles and waves change form when observed, moving forward and backward in time, and occupying two places simultaneously. The physical self remains the anchor as well as the propellant for conscious travel.
The legendary silver cord connecting the conscious to the physical body points to the necessity of a continuing healthy flow of physical energy to continue the OBE. Upon death, consciousness departs the body and no propellant remains to call back the conscious craft.
At home in the astral plane, consciousness adopts quickly to a quantum reality beyond the limits of time and space where the will moves the craft. OBE experiencers report the ease of chosen destination movement directing their consciousness. Further, unfamiliar or frightening astral dimensions are easily departed with a mere thought projection to another destination.
Throughout the OBE experience the physical body, the mother ship remains the monitor. The traumatized astral traveler can always move back into the safe haven of the physical body.
In 1999 International Academy of Consciousness (IAC) developed a sophisticated online survey and analyzed 98 different aspects of OBE.
Well over 7,000 responded. The international survey showed that OBE had many shared characteristics with people around the world irrespective of age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, cultural background, religion and education. The IAC continues its research by refining an investigative instrument to understand the processes by which an individual captures information through OBE and remote viewing.
They want to investigate both the capturing of the information and the subsequent transfer of information into the physical brain (Gustus).
Several distinct phenomena are present during an OBE that leads to an expanded awareness of the powers of human consciousness.
- “Self-bilocation – in which the person perceives himself to be in two places at once,” for example seeing one’s physical body. Self-permeability – in which the projected individual is able to move through physical objects
- Internal autoscopy – in which the individual has an internal view of his or her own body and can see bones and organs either with the consciousness inside the brain or outside the physical body.
- Cosmoconsciousness – a state of highly expanded awareness, in which the individual perceives the order, balance and logic of the universe, simultaneously feeling and celebrating that he or she is part of it. Nirvana, Satori and Samadhi.
- Precognition – in which the individual, fully projected from the physical body, obtains information relating to events that have not yet occurred. Retrocognition – in which the individual, fully projected from the physical body obtains information relating to events that have already occurred, in this life or a past life.
- Extraphysical telepathy – in which the projected individual communicates with others who are in the physical, projected or nonphysical condition through transmission of thought” (Gustus).
The OBE occurs in an astral reality between the physical and extraphysical or consciousness bodies.
It is not a dream, although it may be triggered by a dream state. OBE reports indicate active participation during the projection – making decisions, using mental attributes and creating travel itinerary. The environment encountered, though of another dimension has a distinct reality. The projector is in a reality separate from the physical body and may observe his or her own body and be aware of both the launch from and the landing back into the physical body.
As theories of quantum consciousness take root in culture, individuals will readily open to astral travel or OBE experiences. Growing databases of experiences add to the scientific knowledge of our body as mother ship and its consciousness craft.
Like knowledge of the automobile engine, individuals will not wait for complete understand quantum consciousness, before test driving their consciousness.
Teleportation
In 2005 cosmologist and astrophysicist Eric Davis completed a paper for the United States Air Force arguing that teleportation was an achievable technology and a legitimate science.
“Specifically the purpose of his study was to collect information describing the teleportation of material objects, providing a description of teleportation as it occurs in physics, its theoretical and experimental status, and a projection of potential applications”.
(Witcher)
Davis compiled five futuristic viable modes of teleportation.
- “Quantum teleportation is a technique that shifts the characteristics, but not the location of sub-atomic particles at great distances”. (Witcher)
- “Wormholes, a highly theoretical possibility whereby the intense gravitational field near black holes could rip open entrances to distant locales”. (Vergano)
- Parallel Universe travel in parallel dimensions.
- Science fiction based Star Trek transporter beams, which he dismisses.
- Psychic Teleportation, the most reasonable starting point.
Chinese researchers have demonstrated test subjects teleporting fruit flies and grasshoppers with their minds alone (Witcher). Famed and defamed psychic Uri Geller supposedly teleported a sealed crystal compound out of existence.
Dangers of human teleportation loom large.
The “original you would be destroyed, and a new you would emerge elsewhere. It will take a brave person to try that one the first time. No one knows if the essence of you would be preserved”.
(Knapp)
The point of Davis’ research was to bring together all the existing research on teleportation so that other researchers might use it as a springboard.
When the Chinese boast success, the US Air Force and American research institutes at Stanford and Princeton are not far behind with their classified consciousness research.
The power of consciousness to merge with and move matter, once the subject of extraterrestrial themed movies and experiencer reports, is moving into the realm of possibility with military, aerospace applications.
Conclusion
Experts in UFO sightings report extraterrestrial craft as disappearing, instantly reappearing, hovering silently for extended periods of time, dividing into separate spheres, multiplying, and as launching and returning to a mother ship.
These extraterrestrial craft behaviors reflect the power inherent in human consciousness – levitation, teleportation, time anomaly, and astral projection. The highest potentials of our human consciousness indicate an exoconsciousness.
We are children on the stars.
Developing and using this exoconscious ability to its highest potential requires attention and commitment to move forward in the following areas.
- Awakening: Individuals committed to development of exoconsciousness require accepted infusion of an awakening experience to open exocommunication power. This awakening may be generated by a religious discipline such as yoga, tantra, or body-mind-spirit ritual; a near death experience; or a conscious UFO sighting, contact experience or communication. All experiences generate the same results, exoconsciousness is awakened.
- Living in and acceptance of an Extraterrestrial Reality: Individuals living in an Extraterrestrial Reality no longer question the presence of other beings on Earth. The need shifts away from proof to acknowledgement and rapid learning through communication and openness.
- Release: Individuals shifting into an Extraterrestrial Reality feel the need to shed worn out suppositions, fears, inhibitions and prejudices. The traditional bounds of earth existence are transcended. Emotional release involves letting go of the storehouse of accumulated energies that no longer serve the individual’s highest good. Mental release involves letting go of worn out assumptions and beliefs that no longer work. The clearing of ineffective mental attitudes allows the adoption of a new set of beliefs, such as quantum consciousness, that are concurrent with Extraterrestrial Reality. Physical release involves relaxation through the transition into an Extraterrestrial Reality. Attention and care of the physical body heighten the energy level which allows the transformation of DNA to create a physical vehicle for the propulsion of our exoconsciousness.
- Building a bridge: During this phase of transition it is essential for individuals to create a bridge between their earth-self and their expanding exoconsciousness. Time and patience are required for the development of exoconsciousness “space legs.” Management and development of our physical body during this process can be assisted by mind-body-spiritual disciplines such as tantra and yoga.
- Parallel Dimensions: Individuals moving into acceptance of an Extraterrestrial Reality and use of exoconsciousness accept parallel dimensions where assistance and guidance by star beings may be accessed. As we are of the stars; the stars are of us. They are our DNA, our consciousness, our bloodline. As we ascend into our highest potentials their beings rise in unison. Acceptance of safe entrainment to their spiritual energies leads to easy, effortless movement.
- Subjective Experience: David Chalmer’s Hard Problem of experience holds the solution. Individuals committed to Extraterrestrial Reality and exoconsciousnss development learn through trial and error, trust and relaxation that inner subjective experience is the key to transformation. Guides and advisors line the way as the individual determines the path. Each path is distinct and different. Inner subjective experience of the Earth’s sensory world, the protoconsciousness membrane, and exoconsciousness hold the answers to every question. Intuitive knowing accelerates as subjective experience flows into consciousness.
The power of the physical body propels our consciousness craft into inter-dimensional worlds where our exoconsciousness inheritance can be experienced through travel and communication with the realms that are one with us.

from Multidimensions Website
- “Dimensions” are a means of organizing different planes of existence according to their vibratory rate. Each dimension has certain sets of laws and principles that are specific to the frequency of that dimension.
- “Consciousness” represents awareness. The inhabitants of each dimension function clearly, easily, and with a minimum of resistance within that plane because their consciousness vibrates in resonance with the frequency of that dimension.
- “Multidimensional Consciousness” is the ability to be “conscious” of more than one dimension. To be multidimensional in our consciousness we must remember that we have within us the potential to expand our perceptual awareness to the dimensions above and below our physical plane.
- “Unconscious” means unaware of and unable to attend to internal and/or external stimuli within the inhabitants’ own dimension or within another dimension. Third dimensional humans are largely unaware of their first dimensional, second dimensional, and fourth dimensional selves. The human unconscious is best accessed through physical body messages, introspection, dreams, and meditation.
- “Conscious” means aware of and able to attend to stimuli within the inhabitants’ own dimension. The third dimensional self is conscious of what can be perceived by the five physical senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell.
- “Superconscious” is a higher order of consciousness of the fifth dimension and above in which the inhabitants are able to be aware of and attend stimuli of their own dimension as well as all the lower dimensions. The superconscious is innately multidimensional. The third dimensional self can become “conscious” of the superconscious through meditation, prayer, and by surrendering to the enfoldment of the higher order consciousness.
FIRST DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS
First dimensional consciousness is awareness as a point.
The consciousness that resonates to this dimension is the Mineral Kingdom. Current third dimensional science has not proven that minerals have any awareness as we recognize it, but healers and shaman have been using crystals as healing tools for many centuries.
Humans’ first dimensional consciousness is “unconscious” to our five physical senses. However, the first dimension is a portion of our bodies and represents the minerals, water, and genetic codes that are the foundation of our physical forms. If we could access this level of our unconscious, we could connect with the entire physical world via its most basic common denominator, the individual molecules.
Perhaps we could even consciously access our own genetic coding.
I feel myself upon the first step of my consciousness. I am of the first dimension. I am an atom of carbon, a drop of water, and an imprint upon a strand of DNA. However, I cannot perceive the strand or the other molecules of water and carbon. I am only conscious of my exact point of my awareness. However, as I look inside myself, I find that another world exists, a world of electrons, protons, nuclei, and quarks.
I am the gateway between the macrocosm and the microcosm.
SECOND DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Second dimensional consciousness is awareness as point and line.
The consciousness that resonates to this dimension is biological matter such as the Plant Kingdom and the lower Animal Kingdom. The consciousness of this dimension does not possess self-awareness. These beings are only conscious of their species’ identity and their need for feeding, fighting, and procreation. Their consciousness is based upon survival of the fittest and they live solely within the awareness of the moment.
Human second dimensional consciousness is centered in the lower brain, which directs the autonomic nervous system to regulate and maintain life support functions. Our five physical senses are largely unconscious of this component of ourselves, but with training such as biofeedback and meditations, some conscious awareness and control can be established.
Yogis are known to achieve enough conscious control of their autonomic nervous system and can regulate their heartbeat and metabolism.
“Primitive” peoples are much more aware of this “animal” portion of their physical form and, therefore, have conscious access to their basic instincts. and an awareness of how they are a portion of a greater whole. Unlike “civilized” man, they have a constant respect for all life and the balance of Nature.
I feel myself now expand to my second dimensional consciousness. My task is simple. I must survive. I will protect myself and procreate in the proper season. I look neither forwards nor backwards, and I dwell only in the present. I am what I am and where I am. I neither plan nor reflect. I live to continue the existence of my species. If a human consciousness inhabits my form, I am not aware of it.
My perceptions are confined to what I can eat, use, fight, mate with, or rear. However, my “herd” and I are one.
Our instincts guide us, and we are a part of Nature.
THIRD DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Third dimensional consciousness is awareness of point, line, length, breadth, height, and volume.
The primary consciousness of this dimension is the higher Animal Kingdom and the Human Kingdom. The humanoid form is composed of all the elements of the first and second dimensional being, which are: water, minerals, genetic coding, and biological matter, as well as an individual soul. It is the individual Soul that distinguishes humans from the other members of the Animal Kingdom who mostly have a group Soul.
The third dimension is locked in a time/space and cause/effect paradigm.
This dimension is a schoolroom that our Souls attend by inhabiting humanoid physical bodies to learn more about creation. In the third dimension, life mirrors all that we are seeking to understand. Therefore, the process of creating via our thoughts and feelings is slowed down so that we can track the circumstances of what we hold in our consciousness.
The third dimension is known as the conscious world.
However, there are different stages of human consciousness aligned in a hierarchical manner that often coincide with our age and stage of life.
FIRST STAGE OF LIFEIn the first stage, we are children, and we are dependent on others for our survival.
In this state of dependency we do not realize that our consciousness holds the seeds of the life we are creating. We believe that we are powerless over our environment and are victims to the circumstances of our lives.
It is our goal to gain enough self-awareness as we mature beyond this child state so that we can become independent.
SECOND STAGE OF LIFEIn the Second Stage we are independent.
This independence develops as we learn that we can control our own life. Through our choices and experiences, we gain trust in our ability to be responsible and we maintain our responsibility because we respect ourselves. This respect is based upon. our sense of personal power.
Without a sense of personal power we are filled with fear which reduces us to “surviving”.
THIRD STAGE OF LIFEIn the Third Stage we are dependable.
This dependability develops as we gain enough trust and respect for ourselves that we can become responsible for others. Through positive experiences, we have learned that we definitely have an impact, not only on our own life, but also upon the lives of others. Because of our earned self-esteem, we feel confident that we are reliable.
Unfortunately, people will take responsibility for other people’s lives while they are still in the dependent stage or when they have not yet learned to be responsible even for themselves.
These actions can create generation after generation of dysfunctional families.
EXPANDING THIRD DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESSAs humans we have the ability to remember the past and the future while remaining aware of the present.
However, much of our true SELF becomes lost in our unconscious mind. This loss leaves us with a feeling of separation from the whole, a fear that we are limited in our ability to achieve our desires, and a belief that we have to “work hard” to accomplish our goals.
Third dimensional society and “science” seek to prove that the only reality that exists is the one we perceive with our five physical senses and urges us to believe that our 3D perceptions of reality ARE the only reality. From this state of consciousness, spirit congeals into matter and our consciousness is limited to our ego.
Hence, the need for the development of a strong sense of ego is often gained at the cost of losing our sense of group identity. This limitation is especially in especially predominant in the Western World where individual achievement and possessions often become the most important parts of our lives.
Awareness of our Spiritual Self can only be remembered when we have expanded our consciousness to encompass the higher dimensions. Then we can release our dependency upon others and heal our sense of powerlessness and victimization. We then become independent in a new sense because we have realized that we and we alone, are creating our reality.
We are, thereby, more dependable then ever because we are not waylaid from our promises and goals by our own “unconscious” self-sabotage.
As we become more aware of the many aspects of our once forgotten self, our consciousness expands to encompass more that our ego and even more than our third dimensional reality.
As we – Our Third Dimensional Consciousness – expands from:
Individual Consciousness TO ~ Group Consciousness TO ~ Community Consciousness TO ~ National Consciousness TO ~ Collective Consciousness TO ~ Planetary Consciousness TO ~ Galactic Consciousness.
As our consciousness expands, so does our definition of the world in which we live.
I expand my consciousness to the next step. I am three-dimensional. I am aware of myself as an individual human, but still I struggle for survival. I need to feed myself, shelter myself, and cover my body. I wish to find a mate and create children. Is there more?
Yes, there are feelings and thoughts. With my thoughts I remember my past. My feelings fill these memories with happiness, pain, love, or fear. With my thoughts I plan the future which I desire.
But do I have the power to create my life or am I a victim to the world around me?
FOURTH DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Fourth dimensional consciousness is awareness of point, length, breadth, height, volume, and time.
The fourth dimension is also known as the Astral Plane, and the primary consciousness of this dimension is the Astral Body, which is also known as the “higher human.” Because of the octave leap in vibration from third to fourth dimension the Astral Body is of a higher vibration known as etheric and fourth dimensional perception of past, present, and future is more fluid, as the laws of time and space change.
On the fourth dimension, we can reintegrate our group identity without the loss of our personal ego, as it is the last vibration where physical vehicles are used to contain individual consciousness.
However, because of the fluid nature of time and space our astral forms naturally morph. Hence, there is a huge mobility of form. It is the realm of the “shape shifters” of which mythology speaks.
A shaman or holy person who can shape shift has learned to ground their astral form upon the third dimension so completely that they can temporarily change their third dimensional form.
Much of our third dimensional life also exists upon the fourth dimension in a format of a higher vibration, but we are not aware of it because that reality is NOT in sync with our physical time and space. We can have a dream of an entire lifetime and wake up to find that only five minutes of our physical time has passed.
Our astral reality, as well as our other physical incarnations, is not perceivable to our third dimensional self unless we have remembered our Multidimensional Consciousness.
The fourth dimension is the realm which holds the awareness of our body’s first and second dimensional components, as well as all our past experiences of this life and all other third dimensional lives. We can expand our third dimensional consciousness into the fourth dimension through gaining an awareness of the inner-workings of our physical body, remembering our dreams, and having intense experiences of passion, emotion, creativity, and/or spirituality.
The Astral Plane is the realm of dream life. When we are “asleep”, we are unconscious in the third dimension, but we are conscious in the fourth dimension.
Our fourth dimensional Astral Body possesses advanced dreaming, imagination, psychic ability, intuition, magic, and creativity. As we expand our mind to frequency of the fourth dimension, we can experience more and more of these qualities while in our physical form.
Some people are born with an innate connection to their fourth dimensional self and must “work” to ground their consciousness in a third dimensional world that often feels foreign and hostile.
Others are born without this awakened connection, and they usually feel more comfortable and “at home” within the third dimensional paradigm. These people often feel cut off from the higher dimensional portions of themselves and may not even believe that “higher selves” even exist.
However, our astral body does exist and its highest vibration is our Spiritual Guidance. Much like a person upon a mountaintop can observe and guide the residents of the valley below, our higher astral self can observe us upon the third dimension and give us guidance. Through the expanded perception of our fourth dimensional self we can create great changes in our physical world.
However, the fourth dimension still has the polarization of light and dark, and this realm is not necessarily more loving, especially upon the lower sub-planes.
Upon the fourth dimension, thought and feelings create reality much more quickly than upon the third dimension, and fear can create evil as easily as love can create beauty and joy.
FOURTH DIMENSIONAL SUBPLANESThere are different planes, which are increases in frequency, which we can access by expanding our conscious.
The Lower Astral Plane holds the invisible emanations of all the fear and negativity that is projected into it from the physical plane. The Lower Astral has been known as Hell, with Purgatory being above that. Fourth dimensional consciousness feeds into and extends third dimensional emotions.
Therefore, it is often known as the “realm of emotion”. The Lower Astral, which holds the third dimension’s negative emotions, is not a pleasant experience and a path must be forged through it into the higher sub-planes-such as Faerie.
The Land of Faerie, which we read about as children in our “Fairy Tales”, actually exists upon the middle fourth dimension. Faerie acts as respite after we have forged our pathway through the fear and darkness of the Lower Astral Plane.
After we have experienced Faerie, we can travel in our fourth dimensional consciousness (or fourth dimensional bodies) into the Emotional Plane, also known as the Astral Plane, to learn about the master of our emotions.
From there, we can travel up into the Mental Plane to learn mastery of our thoughts.
In the Causal Plane, also known as the Higher Mental Plane, we can learn the cause and effect of how thoughts and feelings create our world. The Spiritual Plane connects us to the higher guidance of our I AM Presence.
One of the maps (there are many maps) of the sub-planes of the fourth dimensions with the highest vibration on the top is:
- CAUSAL/SPIRITUAL – learn laws of cause and effect and Spiritual Guidance
- MENTAL – learn mastery over our thoughts
- ASTRAL/EMOTIONAL – learn mastery over emotions
- LAND OF FAERIE – overlaps emotional, mental, and causal plane
- LOWER ASTRAL – learn mastery over dark side – i.e. fear and negative emotions
ETHERIC
Interface between third and fourth dimension.
The fourth dimension is like a stream that creates a bridge into the higher dimensions. The base of the bridge is where the physical and astral bodies overlap. This area is known as the Etheric Body.
The Etheric Body is of a vibration between the third and fourth dimension. This body encompasses the physical body and extends beyond it a few inches.
FOURTH DIMENSIONAL BODIES
Each of the sub-planes of the fourth dimension has a correlate body, with every body resonating to a higher vibration than the latter.
- The Emotional Body, also known as the Astral Body, is higher in vibration than the etheric and physical bodies and extends beyond them.
- Overlaid on the lower frequency bodies is the Mental Body, which is also of higher vibration, and extends beyond the Emotional Body.
- Then the Causal Body, again another increase in vibration, overlays the other bodies and extends beyond the Mental Body.
- Finally, there is the Spiritual Body, the “I AM Presence,” which is the highest in vibration and extends beyond all the other bodies. The I AM Presence is the guardian to the Rainbow Bridge, which crosses over into the fifth dimension.
All the fourth dimensional bodies exist over, under, around, and through the physical body, but they cannot be seen by our five physical senses.
If we can perceive the fourth dimension consciously, we can expand our awareness enough to cross the Rainbow Bridge into our Superconscious Mind of the fifth dimension.
We navigate out travel into and through the fourth dimension with our desires, thoughts, and emotions. A metaphor of this would be sailing the ocean. We are the boat, the ocean is the Astral Plane, the location we wish to reach is our desire, our thoughts are the sail and the steering, and the wind is our emotions.
If our emotions are fearful and tumultuous we will have an uncomfortable ride.
Even though our desire is for the higher planes of the fourth dimension, our personal imbalance will limit our entry to the Lower Astral Plane where fear, which is the lack of emotional balance, rules. If we wish to journey to the higher planes of the fourth dimension we must keep our thoughts harmonious and our feelings centered in the infinite balance of love. In that manner, eventually, we can experience all the planes of the fourth dimension.
Then our I AM Presence can lead us across the Bridge into the fifth dimension and beyond.
I step into the fourth dimension. I see my connection to all of life and to my third dimensional selves on the step below me. However, I still experience myself as an individual.
My reality is very mutable now. Persons and places change quickly, but I am aware that it is my thoughts and feelings that dictate these experiences. My fearful thoughts create frightening situations, and my loving thoughts bring me happiness. If I follow my fear, I go down into a world of torment and sorrow.
However, if I follow love, I see a Rainbow Bridge of Light.
FIFTH DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS
Fifth dimensional consciousness is awareness of length, breadth, height, time, and spirit.
All life upon the fifth dimension lives in the Unity Consciousness of Spirit, but there is still an experience of “I” as an individual member of the group. Linear time and space do not bind consciousness here, and there is NO illusion of separation or limitation. Instead, there is a constant experience of the Oneness of God/Goddess/All That Is.
The primary consciousness of this dimension is androgynous, stellar beings living in Lightbodies. These Lightbodies are light based rather than our carbon based physical bodies.
Our Lightbodies have the awareness of our lower selves without the physical limitations. These forms have no need for pain to learn their lessons.
Therefore, they do not need the protection and warning signals of the physical body. Our fifth dimensional selves have integrated the lessons that their lower dimensional selves are learning through the experiences of “Schoolroom Earth,” and do not need physical suffering to learn.
All actions on this plane are based upon love because, just as a dead leaf cannot survive the higher vibration of a fire, fear cannot survive the higher vibration of the fifth dimension. If we were to experience fear while in the fifth dimension, our vibration would drop and our consciousness would instantly be lowered to the lower sub-planes of the fourth dimension.
It is only within the consciousness of fifth dimensional Unconditional Love that we can maintain a conscious connection with our Spirit SELF.
On the fifth dimension, experience, creation, and travel are created in harmony with the Divine Will of God/Goddess/All That Is. Every being, place, situation, or location that is desired becomes instantly manifest.
If we do choose the experience of movement, it feels like a combination of flying and treading water. Our Lightbodies, like our fourth dimensional bodies, are mutable and can easily change form. Just as we can change our location or experience with our desire, we can also change the form of the “body” that surrounds our consciousness.
The fifth dimension is the beginning of ascension. Hence, all consciousness there is naturally multidimensional.
The awareness of the fourth and third dimension are as automatic as looking at our hands and feet. Since there is no sense of separation, we can experience our third and fourth dimensional realities within the same moment that we are experiencing our fifth dimensional Lightbody.
Because there is no feeling of limitation, we can easily believe that we are “alive” and “conscious” within many different vibratory rates. Just as our third dimensional consciousness is aware that we are also made of the minerals, water, genetic codes, and biological matter of the first and second dimension, our fifth dimensional self is aware that we are also third and fourth dimensional beings.
On the fifth dimension we live in,
- Unconditional Love
- Unconditional Forgiveness
- Unconditional Acceptance
We hold no judgment, guilt, or negativity towards the “lower” portions of ourselves that are striving to remember our “Higher Selves”.
In fact, our fifth dimensional self serves as a guide to the lower aspects of our consciousness, as well as to others.
There are also sub-planes of the fifth dimension, but awareness of, and therefore writings about, them are minimal. It has been my experience that there is a threshold upon which we wait for our Divine Complement. Our Divine Complement, also known as our Twin Flame, is the opposite polarity of our integrated male/female androgynous Lightbody that was split off from us when we took embodiment in the lower dimensions.
I am upon the step of the fifth dimension and see that there are many steps above me. I am aware of and united with the portions of myself upon the lower steps, as well as my other fifth dimensional realities.
Love and fear, beauty and ugliness, are only polarities of a single concept.
I live in unity with the male and female expressions of my being. I have learned to Unconditionally Love, Unconditionally Accept, and Unconditionally Forgive all life and the portions of that life that I identify as myself. I have a sense of personal identity within the unity of All That Is.
My thoughts and feelings are instantly manifested, and my body of Light lives forever in the NOW.
Understanding Dimensions of Consciousness
All five dimensions exist within, are a portion of, and emanate from, our third dimensional body. We are a vessel that we fill with our own multidimensional universe.
As we become aware of the five dimensions of ourselves, we can become conscious of their relationship to each other. Then we can begin to understand how the many dimensions of ourselves integrate within our conscious, unconscious and superconscious awareness. (see below charts)
Many ancient prophesies, current books, and other web sites speak of a great shift that our planet, in fact our entire galaxy, is about to undergo.
These prophecies say that the third dimension is collapsing into the fourth and fifth dimension. As a metaphor, think of a travel cup with the smallest bottom section of the cup being the third dimension, the middle section of the cup being the fourth dimension, and the largest top section of the cup being the fifth dimension.
If you were to partially collapse the cup, the bottom section (third dimension) would be surrounded by the middle (fourth dimension) with the top section (fifth dimension) just above it. However, if you were to completely collapse the cup you would see the bottom section (third dimension) surrounded first by the middle (fourth dimension) and then by the top section (fifth dimension).
If these prophecies are correct, if we are collapsing into the higher dimensions of ourselves,
- How can we be conscious of this process?
- How can we help both our selves and others?
Perhaps if we can each take personal responsibility for raising our own consciousness we can assist in raising the consciousness of our group, nation, planet, and galaxy.
Could one person have that much power? Perhaps, as we raise our individual consciousness, we will realize that we are not “just one person.”
Regardless of whether or not we are moving into the next dimension, our third dimensional Earth is suffering from our disregard for Her body. We are running out of unpolluted “space” and running out of “time” to repair the damage we have done.
If we don’t raise our consciousness, if we remain “unconscious” of our physical destructive behavior and “unconscious” of how we create our world with our thoughts and feelings, we may not have a “Schoolroom Earth” for our higher dimensional selves to enter.
We must awaken NOW.
We must remember our true multidimensional nature so that our UNCONSCIOUS, CONSCIOUS, and SUPERCONSCIOUS selves can merge into the Multidimensional Consciousness that is our innate heritage and true foundation.
We are a vessel of light, and our LIGHT is multidimensional!
DIMENSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS REVIEW
The Unconscious
We can think of our unconscious like a deep pond.
The surface of the pond is visible to our conscious self and we can interact with it by swimming, fishing, or wading. We have little awareness of what lies hidden at the bottom of the pond. Things of a higher vibration, such as a leaf or a feather, float on the surface of the pond, but things of a lower vibration, like a rock, sink to the bottom of the pond.
However, even the feather and the leaf may eventually sink to the bottom of the pond over time.
Our happy experiences and memories are of a higher vibration because they are filled with love and can float on the surface of our consciousness. On the other hand, our unhappy experiences and memories are of a lower vibration because they are filled with fear.
These fearful memories and experiences sink to the bottom of the depths of our unconscious, our lower astral plane. Just as the bottom of a pond is murky and obscured so is our deepest unconscious.
To clear our old feelings of fear, guilt and shame we must enter the water of our unconscious to rescue these portions of our psyche that are trapped there.
THE SHADOW POND
I turned to walk away, but with my very first step I knew that I must stay.
If I could not see what was in the pond, maybe I would have to feel it. Maybe, I would have to actually enter the pond and feel its dark waters upon me.
The thought of entering the murky water made me cringe. Should I keep my clothes on as some meager attempt at protection or should I enter the water as naked as the day I was born?
I knew the answer. I must face the depths without any external protection. I must find my protection in the courage that it would take to enter the murky pond. Courage, which was deep within my core, would be my only protection to face the darkness and the secrets that it held.
I shed my clothes quickly, before I lost my nerve, and jumped into the foreboding pond. I held my breath and immediately dove to the bottom. I navigated with my arms, as I was not quite ready to open my eyes.
When I touched the bottom of the pond, I knew that I must open my eyes while I still had enough air in my lungs to remain at the bottom. A vision of muck and grime awaited my opening eyes. But what was that-just over there?
Something golden was sparkling against the surrounding filth. Oh it must be rescued, I thought. It does not belong here. This golden thing is different from the dirt that surrounds it.
I swam to the golden sparkle and wiped the mud from its surface. The dark mud hovered in the water, waiting to again cover the golden object. I reached for the treasure with the intention of bringing it to the surface, but found that it was held fast to the bottom of the pond. I pulled and pulled, but it did not budge.
Finally, I stood on the silt-covered bottom to gather enough resistance to free the bit of gold. My toes squished into the sticky mud and my struggle filled the water with silt. I had to close my eyes to protect them and pulled upon the golden object while I pushed against the floor of the pond.
Yet nothing worked and I was running out of oxygen. Would I have to abandon the treasure that lay hidden in the murky pond’s depths? I stood still for a moment and released my hold on the golden object. It instantly sank back into the mire.
Only a small portion of it glistened through the filthy water. With shame, I realized that I could not free the treasure. Then I remembered that it had been my intention to “feel” the water. Yes, now I felt it. It felt like shame, and guilt, and most of all, it felt like fear.
The fear permeated every rock and every atom of the pond. No wonder that which was beautiful could not be freed. As I stopped my struggle, the mud that had filled the water began to settle-settle onto me.
I felt it clawing at my skin reminding me of feelings that I had felt outside of the dark pond. NO! I must leave these depths and the feelings that they aroused in me. I could not save the treasure. I would have to leave it in the murky depths.
Besides, I could hold my breath no longer. I must return to the surface. The thought of escape felt good and necessary. I swam to the surface with a mixture of relief and sadness, relief that I could free myself from the silt and sadness that I could not free the hidden treasure.
My head bobbed above the surface of the pond and a cool rain rinsed the dirt off my face. I swam to the edge of the pond and pulled myself onto a rock. Standing, I allowed the gentle rain to cleanse my body. The feel of the fresh water upon my skin rejuvenated and calmed me.
The mud of the pond was easily cleared, for it was never mine. I realized then that the filth of the pond was something that I had temporarily taken on, temporarily experienced.
I looked at the pond again. It seemed clearer now. The mud that I had stirred up had again settled to the bottom. I remembered the bit of gold that was still trapped there. How could I free it?
I would have to again enter the murky pond and swim down into its darkest depth. Could I remember my own purity, even when the mud clung to my form?
Could I find the bit of gold hidden beneath the silt and bring it to the surface?
“Yes,” I cried to the sun that was breaking through the clouds. “I shall find what has been lost. That which has been buried and forgotten shall be found and returned.
“Something of great value is lost in the depths of the darkness, and I must retrieve it.”
OUR NEW WORLD
It is a New World that we walk into.
This New World is filled with challenges that we can’t yet imagine. We have told ourselves that if there were no fear and conflict that life would be easy. However, is it easy to learn how to hold the consciousness of a cloud?
We have worn these earthen bodies for so many third dimensional lives that we have forgotten the myriad of forms that our consciousness can create to define and protect us. We have defined ourselves as human and learned to protect ourselves with battle and prayer. However, we could not protect ourselves from each other.
We humans have always been our own greatest enemy.
- What will it be like when we are fifth dimensional and there are NO polarities, NO teachers, NO saviors, and NO enemies?
- How will it feel when we hold all polarities within our form?
- How will it feel when we are male and female, together in an androgynous Lightbody?
If we can IMAGINE how it will feel, if we can REMEMBER how it has felt, it will hasten our transformation.
However, in order to remember the feeling of our true multidimensional selves, we will also have to rewrite the old mental programs of limitation and separation.
We created these programs during our many third dimensional lives. These programs will not allow us to believe that we deserve the light that has come into our bodies. Because we don’t believe we deserve the Light, we cannot use it to create the life that we truly DO desire.
To release these old programs of fear and limitation, we will journey into our deep unconscious. We will enter the murky pool of repressed pain and fear, so that we can rescue those portions of ourselves that have become trapped there. Down we will go into our deepest unconscious, into our first and second dimensional bodies.
We will journey into our humanoid animal and into our genetic coding. Then we will enter our lower astral self, which is the storehouse of our deepest hidden darkness. We will have the courage to travel there because we KNOW that we are NOT “just physical”.
We know that we are pure consciousness and the bodies that hold our consciousness are in need of repair.
Mental programs and emotional beliefs were learned a long time ago when we were children. That is, we were children either in our years or in our awareness. Now we will step across the threshold of our unconscious and into our deepest self.
Programs that once protected us have become limitations. We are ready to rewrite or release them. When these old programs were created, we did not have the power to deal with the situations at hand.
Hence, we had to create a defense mechanism so that we could protect ourselves enough to survive a situation that was beyond our control. However, we now know that these defense mechanisms were like training wheels, which allowed us to “get by” until we could learn to ride through life without them.
We are ready NOW to travel down the seven stairs into our deepest core so that we can rewrite programs of fear and helplessness and replace them with programs of love and power.

Are aliens extra-terrestrial?
Ufologists, contactees and abductees presume that they are…
This presumption is based on the theory that alien-astronauts visited the Earth in ancient times to establish off-world colonies and engineer the process of human evolution.
Since the aliens supposedly come from worlds other than our own, or so the theory goes, it follows they must be extra-terrestrial.
However, there is little evidence for believing this.
To date, not a single ufologist, contactee or abductee can present credible ‘evidence’ to support the view that aliens are extra-terrestrial…
Evidence of a kind, however, does exist for an alternate theory about the ontological nature of alien entities.
This is the view that aliens are trans-dimensional entities inhabiting the myriad layers of alternate dimensions that interpenetrate the Multiverse, ‘in’ the world as we know it and yet not really ‘of’ the world.
Kenneth Grant
(1924–2011)
The great 20th century magickal practitioner Aleister Crowley, in his own experiments, first postulated this view:
he saw aliens, in fact, as humanity’s best chance for solving the problems of life, death, and achieving perfection.
Similarly, Crowley’s disciple and protégé, Kenneth Grant, head of the UK branch of the OTO for many years and author of the monumental 9-volume Typhonian Trilogies series, also made the argument that aliens are trans-dimensional.
Grant went a bit further than Crowley due to the fact that the UFO craze was gathering steam when Grant was starting his own career (Grant’s Typhonian New Isis Lodge was in active operation between the years 1955-1962).
Studying the documents of the early contactees such as George Adamski, Betty and Barney Hill, and Howard Menger, Grant attempted to reconcile ufology, which he referred to as “ufologicks,” with mainstream occult theory & practice.
Aleister Crowley & LAM
Aleister Crowley (1875-1945), poet, mountaineer, adventurer & philanderer, worked his way through most of the grade structure of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in the early 1900s, learning the theory and practice of Western magick from the bottom up.
When the order was wracked with schism, Crowley left and founded his own more congenial magickal order, the Argenteum Astrum.
Later, in 1912, Crowley became the Grand Master of the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) in the UK, where he developed his special, stylized brand of sex magick based on Tantric and Yezidis sources.
Aleister Crowley
(1875–1947)
Crowley defined magick as,
“the science and art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will.”
The “change” Crowley refers to is,
psychological and spiritual transformation…
This is accomplished by utilizing the latent, psychic powers of the mind and activating the psycho-sexual power zones that reside in key areas of the body and the brain, the areas known as the chakras…
As a necessary preliminary step towards making the “magick” happen, so to speak, the magickal practitioner must achieve contact with a genuine alien entity, something not connected to the practitioner’s own mind or body.
Crowley referred to this entity by the rather fanciful name “Holy Guardian Angel” (HGA), and he described the experience of contacting the HGA somewhat less fancifully as obtaining “Knowledge & Conversation.”
Crowley insisted that contact with the HGA was absolutely required before the magickal practitioner could hope to utilize the powers and energies of lesser entities such as spirits, elementals, demons and so forth (none of which, it must be remembered, can be wholly disassociated from the mind of the practitioner).
And finally, Crowley insisted that,
each and every person on Earth must achieve contact with his or her own HGA if humankind is expected to advance…
As Crowley writes:
My observation of the Universe convinces me that there are beings of intelligence and power of a far higher quality than anything we can conceive of as human.
They are not necessarily based on the cerebral and nervous structures that we know; and that the one and only chance for mankind to advance as a whole is for individuals to make contact with such Beings.
Lam/Aiwaz
This is one of the most important passages that Crowley ever wrote.
Crowley offers a three-fold definition of an alien entity:
- aliens are genuinely ‘alien’ since they exist apart from the physical and cerebral attributes of human beings
- aliens have a higher level of intellectual and cognitive ability than humans
- and, most importantly, aliens, being essentially magickal beings, are trans-dimensional, not extra-terrestrial
This last point is implicit in Crowley’s statement but it is there nonetheless.
The magickal practitioner is expected to achieve the knowledge and conversation of the HGA via magickal or mystical methods:
- this entity can be summoned by magickal rites, whether evocations or invocations
- it can be summoned by astral travelling or lucid dreaming
- the entity can be summoned in meditation and/or mystical trance…
In contrast, extra-terrestrial entities cannot be reached by using any of these methods:
they must be met face-to-face in real time, in a common, shared time-space continuum…
In his lifetime Crowley achieved contact with only one alien entity of this nature, and that was the alien known as Lam or Aiwaz (the two are sometimes distinguished by occult scholars, but they were virtually synonymous in Crowley’s mind and I shall therefore speak of them as one entity in this essay).
Lam was believed by Crowley to be an emissary of other aliens or “outer-ones”.
Lam/Aiwazwas the entity that dictated the notorious
Book of the Law, or Liber AL, to Crowley via the seerRose Kelleyin 1904.
Crowley also had direct contact with Lam in America later in 1915 and 1919.
Crowley drew a portrait of Lam and included it with some of his expressionist paintings in an exhibition held in Greenwich Village, New York City, 1919.
This drawing was reproduced for the first time in The Equinox, Vol. III, No. 1 (1972); Kenneth Grant reproduced the same drawing in The Magical Revival (1972) and Outside the Circles of Time (1980).
Lam has a small, diminutive body visible only from the chest on up, covered by a coarse, wool-textured robe.
The area of the head above the eyebrows and the bridge of the nose is very high, bulbous and hairless; it is more than twice as long as the lower area.
There is a faint, mushroom-cloud shape etched into the expansive forehead. The face itself is scrunched down low between the eyebrows and the chin; the eyes are narrow and slanted, the pupils tiny, the nose long, the mouth a mere slit.
When we compare the image of Lam with the descriptions of aliens given by contactees and abductees, there are striking similarities.
Grey-skinned humanoids have been reported as being 3-4 feet tall with bald, elongated heads, black almond eyes and slits for mouths. There are descriptions of diminutive green humanoids, also bald with elongated heads, slanted eyes, slit-mouths.
There are even accounts of small silvery creatures who resemble the other two types.
Clearly, contactees and abductees are seeing the same sorts of entities that Crowley saw; the only difference is that Crowley’s entity was not colored green, gray or silver.
In this context, it is worth noting that all of these alien archetypes are virtually equivalent to the 1950s Hollywood Science Fiction versions of aliens – the big-brained, bug-eyed, little green or gray men that still crop up occasionally in SF films on TV and in the cinema today.
David J. Skal, horror film scholar and author of The Monster Show: A Cultural History of Horror (1993), offers an interesting interpretation of the big-headed, bug-eyed alien stereotype.
Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957) boasted the most exaggerated eye-brain hypertrophy of all:
aliens (played by dwarves) with heads shaped like gargantuan light bulbs, their bugging eyes the size of baseballs… these new creatures anticipated not the violent rending of the body but its withering and atrophy.
The future was about watching images and processing information; the eyes and brain were the only useful parts of the human form left… ocular anxiety and depersonalization was reflected in films like,
- The Beast with a Million Eyes (1955)
- The Crawling Eye (1958)
- The Cyclops (1957)…
This is eerily applicable to our contemporary times where young millennials are addicted to their smartphones, cherishing them more, seemingly, than the hands that hold them, as they pump unceasing bits of social and entertainment data directly into their brains.
Perhaps in the future, as our technologies advance and proliferate, we will see increasing levels of “ocular anxiety” and depersonalization of the type mentioned by Skal.
But this is more or less a human thing.
Alien entities such as Lam do not have big heads because of information overload:
they need the expanded cranial capacity to house their superior minds and apply their cognitive energy, enhanced as it is, to assist humankind in taking the next, necessary step towards enlightenment.
Kenneth Grant & Ufologicks
After Crowley’s death, his disciple Kenneth Grant (1924-2011) received a charter from Karl Germer, Crowley’s successor as Outer Head of the OTO, to set up a UK branch of the OTO.
From its inception, Grant’s New Isis Lodge reflected Crowley’s hopes, which he articulated in his diaries during the last two years of his life, for a fundamentally different, re-structured OTO, focused less on initiation and more on promoting and fostering communication with alien entities.
Elaborate ceremonial and the establishment of fixed Lodges in specific locales would be superseded by a fluid and far-flung web comprised of Thelemic power-zones.
These power-zones would form a loosely-knit network of occult groups using the Ophidian Current to prepare human consciousness for intercourse with the denizens of other dimensions.
Grant followed through on Crowley’s game-plan:
he divided his “Typhonian” OTO as he called it into a series of disparate cells, each operated by either a single, dedicated magickal practitioner or by a small coven of practitioners.
The main lodge facility was reserved for visiting magickal practitioners and performance artists who were allowed to stage their own creative rites on a first-come, first-serve basis, using lodge members occasionally for support and backup.
Desmodus
Grant, like Crowley, also contacted the HGA.
Grant’s guardian angel was named Aossic-Aiwass, and not surprisingly it closely resembled LAM.
Grant provides plates in the various volumes of his Typhonian Trilogies series that show the faces of the alien entities he communicated with over the course of his magickal experiments, both during his tenure as head of the New Isis Lodge and afterwards.
These aliens also resemble Lam.
An alien known only as Desmodus is shown in Plate 8 of Outer Gateways (1994), this was drawn by Grant.
Desmodus’ face occupies only the lower half of the head; the rest is a high, bulbous forehead, with a small, weird face etched into the skin, smoke pouring out of its eyes.
In Plate 29 of Beyond the Mauve Zone (1999) there is the drawing (also by Grant) of an alien priest.
Like Aossic-Aiwass, the priest has a large, bulbous head, though the face is more normal looking.
These examples are clear evidence the alien entities that haunted Grant’s magickal chambers and the chambers of his imagination are the same diminutive, big-brained creatures that appear to countless contactees and abductees.
Grant, likewise, accepted Crowley’s view that alien entities are trans-dimensional.
In Outside the Circles of Time (1980), Grant calls into question the whole extra-terrestrial vs trans-dimensional dichotomy, seeing outer space as a form of inner space, especially when it comes to alien beings.
This takes aliens out of their metal ships and plants them squarely in alternate dimensions.
Whether or not… intrusion proceeds from actual entities in outer space is problematic; outer space may be another form of that inner space which comprises the mental or subjective universe.
In a later, more penetrating analysis of the nature of aliens, in his Outer Gateways (1994), Grant rightly notes that the larger percentage of encounters involve aliens that are not flesh and blood but are actually magickal beings.
Grant theorizes that aliens are largely “etheric,” not quite astral-entities but closer in substance to the astral than they are to the physical. Grant extends this theory to include alien ships.
These ships, according to Grant, are etheric – astral shells or capsules fabricated by the trans-dimensional aliens as a necessary by-product to assist in reification on the physical plane.
The substance of manifestation appears… to be of an etheric as distinct from an astral nature. This supposition is suggested by the tangible quality of many of the objects observed.
Sightings in this category appear to be far in excess of those in which the occupants of UFO’s are considered to be flesh-and-blood beings… that suggests that ufonauts are of a substance more subtle than their vehicles, as the astral body of man is more subtle, or less dense, than his physical body.
Such might be the case, for example, if an astral entity fabricated for itself an etheric shell, or capsule, as in the practice known as the magickal assumption of god-forms.
Grant coined the term “ufologicks,” which is phonetically similar to “magicks.”
He defined ufologicks in obscure terms as,
“a suggested designation for the mantric vibrations associated with Gematria and with the power-wave impinging upon earth from Outside.”
When we get past the over-inflated terminology, the meaning is rather simple:
ufologicks is (or will be) a new magickal system focused primarily on rites that are specifically designed to enable magickal practitioners to contact alien entities like Lam, Aossic-Aiwass, or Desmodus.
Unfortunately, Grant died before he could take practical steps to implement this new system.
But he did leave behind some notes on an improvised magickal rite which could be used to summon Lam. Grant instructs the magickal practitioner to gaze at the portrait of Lam, concentrating attention on the eyes.
As concentration deepens, the eyes will start to enlarge, and they will suck you into the portrait so that you have the sensation of being inside the entity’s head.
Then, Grant tells us,
two paths are possible, either a “downward” or an “upward” path.
Grant doesn’t elaborate on what might occur if the upward path is chosen, but he is very explicit about the downward option.
The results are quite dramatic, and they deserve full quotation here.
If downward, the descent will be accompanied by a sensation of rushing air…
A deep blackness will engulf the mind as one enters the dark tunnel beneath the mouth of Lam, and the wind will be replaced by the sound of rushing waters… [this] will awaken the image of an octopoid entity, the tentacles of which are the branchings of the tunnel below the mouth of Lam…
[A] fusion will occur between the eyes of Lam, in the region of the ajna chakra, and the flame will shoot aloft into the vast brilliance of a cranium that appears infinite in extent and dazzlingly lustrous.
This rite serves as an excellent example of what the formal rites for a ufologick lodge might have looked like if Grant had lived to establish his proposed magickal system.

As a parting concession to future ufologists, there is a curious and rather peculiar UFO-centric account of the creation of the world in one of Grant’s last books, Beyond the Mauve Zone (1999).
Grant describes the appearance of an alien astronaut on Earth in ancient, pre-human times (the period is not specified).
The alien presents itself in the guise of an eccentric, reclusive scientist.
In his laboratory, the alien has set up a shrine to the goddess Nu-Isis, consisting of a statue of the goddess and an eternal flame burning in front of it.
The statue is fashioned from a metal that cannot be found on Earth.
She is a metallic, biomechanoid Earth-woman, reminiscent of the countless biomechanoid female aliens that proliferate in the canvasses of the Swiss artist H. R. Giger.
The alien scientist feeds the statue with fluids drawn from elemental, astral entities.
Eventually, the laboratory is destroyed by a massive explosion and the alien either perishes or escapes back to his own dimension. Much later a living human woman emerges from the ashes of the lab, born from the apocalypse of the explosion.
She is Lura, daughter of the biomechanoid statue, who Grant describes as,
“the vitalized image worshipped and nourished by the scientist in the secrecy of his laboratory.”
Along with the birth of Lura, humans begin to populate the Earth.
Some of these humans are directly descended from Lura herself, the children of her sexual liaisons with Earth men, and these individuals are particularly suited to communicate with trans-dimensional alien entities.
At the present day, the descendants of Lura are the magickal practitioners – magickians, mystics and psychonauts – who seek supra-human knowledge and power.
Real or Not Real?
Previously, I mentioned there is scant empirical evidence for the existence of aliens.
This is especially true when it comes to the extra-terrestrial alien. In all fairness, it must be noted that the evidence for the existence of the trans-dimensional alien is equally weak.
We have examined the testimony of Crowley and Grant, but,
is this any more reliable than the testimony of ufologists, contactees or abductees…?
The issue here boils down to the distinction between the imaginary world and the so-called ‘real’ world.
Which is true?
Or are both true?
Or neither…?
In the last few decades, quantum physics has eroded our views about reality, and the theories of contemporary scientists are beginning to sound a lot like the theories of the magickal practitioners, both past and present.
The line between what is real and what is not is no longer distinct, and in the absence of certainty we are free to believe what we will.
In this regard, I am reminded of Harry Potter‘s final meeting with his mentor Albus Dumbledore near the end of the 7th book in J.K. Rowling‘s Harry Potter series, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ (2007).
Potter finds himself in an alternate dimension that looks like King’s Cross station, except that it is empty – no trains, no passengers and full of bright mist.
Initially, Potter is surprised to see Dumbledore, because Dumbledore died in the previous book.
After they converse, Potter asks Dumbledore:
“Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?”, to which Dumbledore replies: “Of course it is happening inside your head… but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
